While being seen at the medical clinic for an issue with my eyes, the provider stated he wanted me to be seen ASAP by my eye doctor.I had been seen two weeks prior (and in March 23 March 24) at ESA, so asked to be scheduled there.When the nurse called the local ESA office that I had been seen at, she was told I had not been seen in 10 years so they couldnt/wouldnt be able to see me that day. I, then personally called ESA to see why the nurse was told that and was transferred to Stacy the Triage Nurse. The medical clinic nurse and myself explained the situation to Stacy. She was able to pull up my record right away and get me scheduled for an appointment that same day.Im very thankful to Stacy for double checking my name/dob to ensure she had the correct patient information.I cant speak to what the original staff member entered when looking for me in their system, but it is very apparent that they had something incorrect!The visit itself went great and the provider did a great job of explaining my situation. Because of Stacy the provider I gave 4 stars. If rating on the original team member who wouldnt schedule me, it would have been1 star.A job well done is not rushed, especially when it comes to any kind of healthcare.
