My company had changed my coverage to one not accepted by eye surgeons but their staff helped me navigate through this unexpected change and helped me understand my options through self pay and cautioned me on re-embersement. I was disappointed that my company had chosen to change our vision coverage, because I did not want to change my DR. They treated me very well, and hopefully I can get my vision insurance to cover my visit or at least recoup expense. I hope to try to encourage corporation to see how this change affects relationship between patient and Doctor, and the continuity of care. I have been a patient for many years and expect to continue my vision care with Eye Surgeons in the future years.
