I was extremely apprehensive about the cataract surgery, especially after hearing all the disclaimers. I had cataract removed in both eyes, without any issues.I was hoping that I wouldnt need glasses after the surgery. Discussed this with Dr. Benevento, and after explaining my life style activities, selected mono-focal lens. I now have 20/30 vision and only use reading glasses. My quality of life, due to my vision, has never been better.

Dr Eckhardt is very professional, easy going and knowledgeable. She caught a problem with my eyes that may not have been found somewhere else. Highly recommended!!

At 72 years and after 65 years with glasses, we were surprisingly pleased at being able to see so bright and clearly (near 20/20) without glasses, and now, glasses are only needed for reading. The evaluation before surgery, the procedure for removal of the cataracts (perhaps 15 minutes per eye - done two weeks apart), and follow up appointments were professionally carried out by Eye Surgeons personnel, especially Dr. William Benevento who did the evaluation, surgery, and follow-up. We give thanks to the Lord GOD our Father for Dr. Benevento, his staff, and that all went so very well.
