I am currently working near Bay City and my glasses broke so I called this location to see if they could help me. They told me to come on in and they would get me fixed right up. I explained how this was an emergency situation and they told me they would put a "Double" rush on it and have them in 5 to 7 days. Due to my prescription being expired I had to have an exam as well. I was patient and waited until the 7th day to call and check the status. I called throughout the day and kept being told the manager would call me back in "5 minutes". Over two weeks went by and I finally got the call they were ready. By this time I was in Houston getting ready for vacation but I drove the two hours to pick them up then drove the two hours back to Houston. The prescription was wrong and I went to the Mann Eye in Humble to get rechecked. They confirmed my prescription was wrong and had to send my glasses back to Bay City location so they could send them back to the lab. It has been over a month and I still have no glasses. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have used TSO for years and never experienced anything like this with them and the longest I have ever waited for glasses is 5 days and always had the prescription right the FIRST time.

I had my Lasik Procedure in December 2015 performed by Sr. Dr. Mann. I have had a lot of discomfort and blurry vision since the surgery and been seeing Dr. Brunson he is a great doctor and every visit made me feel comfortable that my eye sight will improve and the side effects like floaters, blurry vision, seeing halos, etc will go away. Since after my surgery I have severe problem and discomfort in reading the hoardings, subtitles, and over all blurry vision still haven't improved and now after 22 months of making the trips to the Mann institute and buying their recommended medicines, oil supplements, expensive lotemax gels etc plus every month I spent $45 on the tear drops and few of the check ups after surgery which required dilation I have been paying out of my pocket as I don't have eye Insurance. I am really disappointed that after doing an imperfect surgery and charging me $3800 upfront for that they still trying to make more money and I am paying for their mistakes out of my pocket. I have a comprehensive exam scheduled with Dr Brunson next week and the receptionist told me that I need to pay $190 for dilation and exam. I can't believe that how they still want to make money out of the misery they put me in for almost 2 years. Dr. Sr. Mann gave me full confidence and made me feel comfortable before my surgery that I will be fine and I trusted him and took the decision to go with it! I still regret making that decision! I know many people get perfect vision but sadly I am one of the few ones who didn't get the expected results! I see but blurry and with lots of halos, floaters and reflection from lights subtitles bother me so much that I feel I won't be able to watch any French movies or other language movies :(<br>I didn't write the review before and waited this long as I had hope that Dr. Brunson will take care of it as he recommended enhancement surgery which I am planning to get. I feel it's absolutely unfair that they didn't do a proper job on my surgery and I am paying for the exams etc where they should be fixing my eyes for free !!! On top of it they are super expensive.<br>Up And I paid it and left. Once I reached I emailed the manager and my contact person in their response they said that I should be charged for few other post ops visits I made after my surgery as they only cover 6 months and in the email the manager also said that they will look into I was not charged! Bunch off rip offs and money makers! I would highly recommend to stay away from this place !!! They just want to continue making money from you and I got an email that I will be covered for 2years post surgery if I do enhancements! I decided not to do enhancement, would recommend that there are better hospitals which provide lifetime care for your eyes after lasik and some with minimum 3 years which include the check up visits. Would not recommend Mann Institute for lasik if something goes wrong you will be paying hundreds of dollars after the surgery .

I got a pair of glasses here in March of 2017. A few months later, the coating began to bubble/separate from the glasses. I brought them in and they replaced the lenses, but never mentioned that I was repairing through my insurance. The coating issue is now happening again, so I brought them in again. I am positive these arent scratches or due to anything Ive done to the glasses. This time, I was told by a different person that only one repair is allowed under my insurance, so they would not fix the problem for free. I was then told they would give me half off new lenses, which are over $200 full price. I understand this if I had damaged them, but its clearly a defect. These glasses are only 7 months old and I can see the bubbling in my vision. I think its ridiculous that they wont repair defective glasses, especially just purchased not that long ago.
