    Five years after cataract surgery I am almost blind. I do not blame the surgeon, it was never explained to me that macular edema could occur and leave me almost blind. They never explained to me that Dr TooMuchBotox Mann sealed his deal with an unwanted, unappreciated slimy cheek kiss. This facility can kiss my other cheek, the one below my waist. My surgeon was Jennifer, she is awesome..steer clear of botox boy unless you are wanting wet face kisses. Too much staff turnover, they all leave and go to Berkley, which is what all patients should do, I did!

    This review is for the management, and not the doctors. The doctor I got to see one year out of three was good. The management however messed up my appointments two years in a row now. Both times, they kept sending me reminders to make an appointment, and then confirmations of my appointments to each time, when I did show up, make me wait 3 plus hours and not be seen at all. Two years in a row now I returned home without getting to see the doctor with whom I made an appointment with months ahead of time. Both times the managers apologized profusely for their shortcoming but clearly are making no improvements. First time I thought it was a one off, but it was worse the second year. So with that, I am changing my eye care provider. I am very frustrated for having wasted hours of my life at this place.

I am very frustrated for having wasted hours of my life at this place.UPDATE: Despite the terrible experience with management, we decided to go back because the doctor is great. This time, we were both able to see the doctor with only a 45 minute delay. It still took us about 2.5 hours to be done, with all the waiting in between. And they did not give us our prescriptions because they were not ready. It took 5 phone calls (each took a long while) to the office to finally get them to send the prescriptions to us. And each time, the person on the phone hung up on me when we were finished, without responding to Thank yous or Have a nice days :) And when in the end I asked for tracking for the prescription, because it had been days since they said they were mailed out, they said they do not have tracking and I am welcome to go to the local offices such as USPS and Fedex and see if they have them. Sheryl on the phone said she can't tell which service was used. And I am not making any of this up, it would sound so unreal if I were :)

    Here is no care for Asian people. Doctor Mann did not see but an Optometrist only.They put some medicine into my eyes for dialation but did not provide black glasses when I left the institute in huge sunlight. I got blured vision and even after four hours, still suffering from same.Will never recommend to choose this place for your eyes check up OR any treatmen.It is the worst place.
