They took too long to get me to order my contacts, and kept giving trials, to where it rolled into the new year, so I totally lost my benefits. They won't admit their staff was wrong, and they won't even make it right to where I can still get glasses. NOT COMING BACK EVER. Eye doctor is super sweet, but manager Christy is so cold and doesn't even care about the mistakes made in the office.

Mann eye has to be the worst business i have ever delt with. I was told i would have my glasses in 7 to 10 days. It has been 25 days and i still do not have my glasses. I have called 5 times and have gotten 5 different excuses . No one calls back with any update. I'm going in to get a refund and go somewhere else

What a huge disappointment. VERY rushed feeling and no one really walking you through anything...especially the OD. It seems more of a mass volume place and not somewhere I'm use to regarding being explained my options, etc.Went in for eye exam and potential contacts (after wearing glasses). The 'nurse' was very nice and did everything including the exam--which I found a little strange. They never once asked about my professional to better fit what my requirements would be for contacts. Nothing. Just here are contacts (again no explanation of the various kinds, benefits, cons, etc). The nurse said here are your contacts and was nice to try and help me with them, but again at that point I still HAD NOT SEEN A DOCTOR or OD! That seems like it's not legal...but I'll find out. Then OD comes in eventually, NEVER introduces himself (I still have no idea his name). I mean come on, you have a non-OD do my full exam, give me contacts and the OD comes in and never asks one question about my requirements for contacts? They didn't explain the solution or even give me a contact case until I asked 'should I have a case to put these in or solution'. I could not even take them out of my eyes and they didn't care--just go home. Huh?I was thinking about Lasik and after this experience at Mann I would not let them touch my eyes again. I cannot speak to the Lasik doc's here, but based upon my experience I can only imagine. Also the lady at the front who's name tag read "Director of Marketing' was there to move product. She got very excited when I mentioned Lasik. Will not return.

I am currently working near Bay City and my glasses broke so I called this location to see if they could help me. They told me to come on in and they would get me fixed right up. I explained how this was an emergency situation and they told me they would put a "Double" rush on it and have them in 5 to 7 days. Due to my prescription being expired I had to have an exam as well. I was patient and waited until the 7th day to call and check the status. I called throughout the day and kept being told the manager would call me back in "5 minutes". Over two weeks went by and I finally got the call they were ready. By this time I was in Houston getting ready for vacation but I drove the two hours to pick them up then drove the two hours back to Houston. The prescription was wrong and I went to the Mann Eye in Humble to get rechecked. They confirmed my prescription was wrong and had to send my glasses back to Bay City location so they could send them back to the lab. It has been over a month and I still have no glasses. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have used TSO for years and never experienced anything like this with them and the longest I have ever waited for glasses is 5 days and always had the prescription right the FIRST time.

Went here, as it was one of the places that were in our insurance network, but almost no frames were in the (generous) allowance and when we asked what was, the attitude of the rep. (Jerry) changed. Then he quoted rates on lenses with "materials charges" not covered but that they must be included. It would actually have been more expensive to get glasses there than going out of network! Also, really bad attitude from the representative.
