Getting someone on the phone to talk to is extremely time consuming. Customer service is poor. The 3 separate occasions I called to schedule appointments took 15- 25 mins to even get scheduled which is way more than it should if someone even answered the phone in a timely mannerThis place does not communicate their policies and wont provide me with something I paid for because of some made up policy Im hearing of for the 1st time. They want to charge me more money to pick up contacts because it requires a consultation. The 1st consultation didnt go well with my son since they barely spent any time with him and was unsuccessful so they want to charge me for another consultation because they couldnt accommodate my sons school schedule to see him.Basically Mann Eye took $135 of mine and wont provide my son his contacts because they say they want a to charge a fee for another consultation. So no contacts and out $135 is not good customer service.

It's unfortunate that whoever works at the front line, answering the phones, etc. Can leave such a bad taste in somebody's mouth ... So much so that the potential clients would cancel their appointment. I would would hope that mann institute looks into these things or they could lose a lot of business that way.

Testing and measurement folks were great. Business practices are bad. I have monovision and they said this is not covered by insurance. They would not talk to UnitedHealth or provide me with cpt codes to see if it was covered. They do this intentionally to get the 2500 an eye instead of in network rates. I know this since they also tried to charge me $225 for additional tests. I was able to get cpt codes and this was covered by insurance. The insurance company paid 6 $69. I can't believe they get away with this.
