I recently brought my grandmother in there and had the worst service. I asked to speak with management and she came off with a rude demeanor and absolutely did nothing to help me with the issue at hand. I never expected my grandmother to witness such rude and unethical customer service here.

I'm disappointed with this place and had a bad first customer experience. I chose this place because of the positive reviews, not sure if they are fake or focus on a specific group or race of customers. I originally made an appointment to see an Ophthalmologist for my symptom. After the exam, I ordered the prescribed glasses ($1,000.00+), and they failed not once but three times to deliver the correct lenses. To top it, after the third time, I had to order my glasses from another provider because they are still not the right ones. This error could have been prevented, save me money and time if they pay attention and serve all customers equally. I called and complained to the office manager, but she didn't seem to care about it. I didn't request any reimbursement or free service. I do NOT recommend this place.

A complete waste of my time. Spent 35 minutes waiting to be seen and decided to leave. This was with doing all of the up front mobile check in and excessive additional check in upon arrival.

**THIS REVIEW IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFEI will never understand how I walked into Mann Eye with perfectly healthy eyes, and left with sickly and destroyed eyes. Getting Lasik at Mann Eye with Dr. Mann was the biggest mistake of my life and ruined my life. Unfortunately there were many signs that the business practices here were nefarious but somehow I missed them. This procedure has destroyed my quality of life and left me with extreme vision problems that cannot be corrected by surgery, contacts, or glasses as well as excruciating relentless pain in my eye caused by nerve damage from the lasik. Please save yourself and your eyes and never do this surgery and specifically not at this place. I was fooled into thinking this was a genuine medical facility with the care of and health of your eyes as their main concern. Unfortunately, cash rules everything and destruction of eyes is worth a few thousand dollars. The extremely happy reviews are from two days to a few weeks later. My issues started roughly two weeks later and Have never stopped. The pain in my eyes can best be described as contractions in my eyes in combination with a constant stabbing feeling and the feeling that gasoline has been poured on my eyes and set on fire. The treatment after I received this surgery was so appalling. As soon as Mann received my money it was as if a switch was flipped and they were nothing but callous to me. Obviously so many things were missed in my "thorough" exam and I was examined by the dry eye specialist herself Dr Chin. I think this surgery should never be performed on any healthy eye, but specifically in my case I was passed as a candidate when realistically I feel I should never have been. What happened to me, I was never even warned by any doctor or consent form was even a possibility. They only mention slight dry eye for a few months and halos that will subside. Any so called temporary side effect should be listed as a complication that never goes away. Dr chin told me she still suffer from painful dry eye that wakes her up at night 10 + years after lasik and this was not something she dealt with before. HoW could someone who suffers first hand from this surgery perform on other healthy eyes? After weeks of coming in crying and begging for someone to please tell me what was happening to me, Dr Mann finally dismissed me by saying my eye looked fine and that I should see a psychiatrist as it was all in my head. Months later after flying over the country looking for world reknown specialist I was diagnose with corneal neuralgia aka corneal neuropathic pain as a result of lasik. I was never told the lasik would destroy million of nerves in my eye that would not grow back ever fully or could result in nerve damage. Now I have horrible double vision blurriness and my night vision is so horrendous I can no longer drive at night. I am only 26 and had to quit my job as I can no longer look at computer screens. Any screen whether tv, computer, or phone makes my eyes burn even more intensely. I was told over and over again that nothing like this has ever happened before at Mann, only to find a support group later on where I encountered multiple people who suffered the same fate recently from Mann Eye. Mann eye refuses to refund my money even though it's nothing in comparison to my ruined life and eyes. I will be the first to say I never had to or should have had this surgery, but I atleast deserved treatment as a human being to know what I was truly putting at risk with this surgery. I was only ever told by all parties it was extremely safe and I was the perfect candidate. Never informed that should anything go wrong no surgery or medicine will ever be able to return your eyes to their previous state. This surgery does extreme damage to the structural integrity of your eyes and I've been in contact with people who've had severe issues pop up as late as 20 years after. Please save yourself and run from this place, I would give everything I have to undo this one decision. All of the statistics of high success rates are based on seeing 20/20 after surgery not any other metric of eye health. Even though I now permanently see everything double because I can barely see the 20/20 line without glasses I am marked off as a success. To this day Mann has refused to admit that anything is wrong with or that anything went wrong with my surgery or I was not a correct candidate. They have no way of truly even seeing who is a proper candidate and if they do then money casts a shadow on their judgement. Please save yourself and eyes do not okay Russian roulette with the ONLY eyes you'll ever have especially with a company who does not care about one of your most precious vital organs

Don't go here is the main thing I would say!Went here because my old lens from 35yrs ago fell out of place in my eye. When I got to the Georgetown office for the first visit both my wife & I noticed that the office wasn't organized & seem confused just to check in. After waiting to see the doctor we were told we needed to see a specialist & was referred to the other Mann eye office in Austin. When we got there it was the same feeling that the office people didn't know what was going on & what was needed to be done. When we finally got to see the doctor & told him what was going on with my lens he agreed we needed to get it replaced with a new one. (This was agreed 3x while in the appointment by the doctor). The screening appointment & operation dates were set before we left that day. Then the Friday before the screening appointment that was going to be on Monday we got a call to say the surgery was being cancelled because they would have to order a special lens for my eye. The issue with this is HOW did they know they needed a special lens when I hadn't even gone to the screening appointment which tells the doctor what kind of lens I need. So the surgery got pushed back another week - note that I had lost my lens 3 weeks before this happened & I can't see out of that eye. The day of surgery seemed the office was confused again but went thru surgery to find out the doctor DIDN'T replace my lens as agreed 3x in his office but re-positioned my old lens which torn 30mins after surgery again. Which made it to where we had to schedule another surgery the next week. Went in for 2nd surgery where the doctor was going to remove the old lens & put in the new one. Got out of surgery to be informed that the doctor dropped the old lens in my eye & tried for over a hour to remove it but couldn't. So he was now referring us to another doctor who was a specialist at Austin Retina to do what he couldn't do. Had my 3rd surgery with Dr.Wong at Austin Retina & he corrected everything that Mann Eye messed up. Summary - 3 surgeries all one week apart from each other, out of work from June 15th & still not back because of the trauma done to my eye going thru multiple surgeries so close together. I should have walked away that 1st day when I noticed how unprofessional the office was & how no one knew what they were talking about. Don't go here unless you want to lose your eye sight because the doctors lie about what they can do. I wish I would have gone to Austin Retina the first time instead of wasting time, money & possibly my eye sight at Mann Eye.
