    Waited about a month for getting an appointment but when I got there, I was examined by the doctor's assistant. At the end, the doctor came for 10 seconds I told her that I see better with my current glasses than the one she (the assistant) suggested, the doctor replied then don't change it. Use your current glasses. I tried to explain her the reason for my visit because I am having difficulty driving. Her response was "I don't know what to tell you". Seriously??? I understand you are busy changing the world but if I made an appointment with you at least spend a minute listening to my issue. Not everyone makes easy money as you.

    The Sugarland office staff is horrible. If a customer disputes what the office says is our benefits, common sense would suggest the office pick up the phone and actually CALL the insurance. Did not happen, was told they go by a grid. Had to pay out of pocket when i insisted it was covered by insurance, not once did ANYone offer to stop and say, hey, let me go on and call in for benefits since customer is adamant. Went ahead and paid the oop and now have to wait for refund. Got insurance on the phone and conferenced call to clinic but after holding 42 minutes my insurance said they had to release the call.I would NOT recommend using this clinic unless you are self paying.

    I visited Mann Eye Institute and had an overall good experience in the office. However, a few months later they contacted me trying to collect my copay ($50), that I had already paid them during the office visit. I explained to the person that called that they had made a mistake. The copay was was paid at the time of my visit. Over a year after that conversation, it shows up as a collections account on my credit without notice. Very upsetting that this company won't take accountability for their mistakes. Highly irresponsible on their end and I will be contacting BBB and proceeding with further action if necessary.

    Had Lasik done. Vision is significantly worse now, and I see vertical rainbows as well as circular halos around any lights. Driving at night is just about impossible now. Also they scheduled me at the South location, then sent a confirmation for North. I called and they assured me the appt was North. Then when I arrived north they said the appt is South. Totally unorganized and ineffective. Very disappointed.

    My mom got a cataract removed and there were complications. Pretty much sounds like they tried to pull too big a piece out of too small a hole and ripped her eye. This was almost 6 months ago. She couldnt see to drive and had to go in once a week to get exam and some new drops for her eyes so someone in family had to take off work to get her there. She still has issues and goes in regularly and cant see correctly out of her eye. Not to mention her pupil is no longer round but now permanently a black blob in her eye. Would never recommend this place. And Dr. Mann was pompous and rude.
