I had a cataract treatment and was told it could be some time before final improvement was reached. After several months no improvement. I was told I would have to pay again to be seen for the same treatment. Go anywhere else for your cataract treatment.

My mother had an appointment scheduled for 1/11/22 and I had received a call from one of their receptionist and she asked me for my mothers updated insurance card. I was at work at the time and this was approximately 4:15 pm on 1/10/22, I told her that I was not able to get her the information untill later today. She proceeded to tell me that they closed at 5 pm and if I do not get her the info then she would have to cancel the appointment. She was extremely passive aggressive when telling me this. My mother was there less than 2 weeks ago and we gave all the information then. I asked if she could give the information at the time of the appointment and the receptionist said no again that she would need to cancel. At this point I was extremely upset because I had already requested the times off and postpone an extremely large project at work to take my mom to these appointments. I began to ask her why didnt they try to obtain the information before hand and she continued with that she needed the information because its a new year. She ended the call by asking me if it was better if they contacted my mother first and I said yes because I was not able to be home on time but she never called. If I could give 0 stars I would, for the piss poor organization and lack of customer service.

Scam artists, fake, cheats, What a disgrace to the Healthcare Industry to have these frauds. Tried to charge me $3800 for a cataract surgery that was covered by medicare.

DO NOT GO TO MANN EYE! Find a smaller shop where they dont push bodies through the door as a cash machine! My 65 yr old mother has plain jane cataracts, nothing else and no other issues. Her very first visit to confirm she had cataracts we had to wait 4 hrs for her to be seen, what is the point of an appointment! She was shuffled inbetween 2 waiting rooms and 3 private rooms, this was mostly after the 4 hr waiting period. They confirmed she was a good patient for cataract surgery and lined up next steps....7 appointments later (3 separate appts over 3 consecutive days!), $$$$ parking fees, hours upon hours of waiting in the lobby, we finally got to surgery day, or so we thought. The day before surgery the coordinator told my mom that her GP has to sign off on the surgery. My mom recently retired and moved to Medicaid in which her existing GP doesnt accept so 24 hrs before the cataract surgery she had to spin her entire day finding a GP which is impossible to find one and get in all in the same day. Needless to say, we had to cancel her surgery with Mann. This caused everything to be pushed back and Mann Eyes response was "well just do it next year". Um no, her insurance changes in 2022 and the surgery will not be covered under her new plan so that's not an option. After routinely calling the office over 2 days to reach the Manager, they finally agreed to make an exception and fit her in before year end. Great, we show up for surgery at 5:30 IN THE MORNING, the waiting room is like a cooler, my poor mother is shivering to death. Only to find out that the office didnt get a referral form they needed from her doc so appt CANCELLED! Come to find out, the referral form was there the entire time and missed by everyone. We go back the next day for surgery, that amazingly goes well. She goes the next day for her follow up appt and waits 2 hrs!!!! Just to find out that the surgery center didnt give her the right medicine and instead forced my mom to pay $90 for a presciption that she didnt even need! We run, the day before Christmas Eve to the surgery center for the right drops. A week later she goes in for the 2nd eye and wait......3.5hrs! My mom looked like she was going to pass out she was soo cold. They tell us to get the drops from the other location, I demanded the drops before we leave and we werent going to run around any more. I am so glad this horrific debacle is over and I will NEVER EVER recommend this God awful place. They should be ashamed that they put $$$$ over patient care. If you can't do 90 patients a day without making them wait hours after their appointment, then dont book that many! I guess the $300,000 they make off of 90 appts in one day is worth more to them then a good reputation and patient care. I have no idea how anyone over the age of 50 can take on the physical and mental stress of being a patient here.

I was feel strange when they over charge me on the first visit. The second time they want me to pay more and then I called the insurance company find out they should return the money to me on the first visit because insurance company already paid them.Anyway, I called their office and they just let you wait on line and never call you back. Also, the first time testing they said need more testing. The second time testing said the same thing need more testing. All the testing are not something special. Before I don't understand why they keep ask to do the testing and charge the money. Now I recognize such the bad institution like this they just want the money but not really want to treat you. It's sad have this kind of institution. I am not going back. It's a bad place to go.
