Worst experience of my life. Unfortunately I did my Lasik surgery there, they were not honest about the fact that I could develop horrific dry eye syndrome Than they were prescribing all kinds of eyedrops that have preservatives in them that were making my eyes burn and burn and get worse and worse I finally went to an eye doctor away from the clinic who is shocked and through the eyedrops away and Stathas are killing your eyes you have to use preservative free drops. ive been had to start driving down to the dry eye clinic in Houston every few months for them to look at my eyes..they never solved any of these issues and Ive gone for five years spending thousands of dollars on super expensive drops.the clinic has done nothing to help me resolve this. I had terrible vision before, but this was not worth the pain and the money that Ive now had to spend since this surgery & all due to gross negligence from this clinic & brand.

I have had problems since I got lense replace from Mann eye, my wife had her eyes done by someone else, she has never had to go back, I have had to go back 3 times. Done with Manneye, I wish I have never gone to this place, right now my eyes are bad. I would use anyone else but these guys. Again use someone else or youll pay for it down the road.

I recently received LASIK surgery at Mann Eye Institute (Katy location). My eyes are still healing, however, its very blurry in my right eye to a point that I feel that theres prescription in that eye. But thats okay, Im looking forward to better vision soon. The reason why I had to write this review and gave 1 star is because I wanted to warn people who wanted to get LASIK done here an awareness of fact check. I came in for a LASIK consultation (I was referred by Dr. Asaria at Eye Site). I met with Dr. Matthew Morello for my consultation. He said that I had great cornea thickness and I was eligible for LASIK surgery. I asked him what my thickness of my corneas were. He said that it was around 570-580 microns. I asked him how much of my corneas would be removed after LASIK, he wouldnt know because he was not the one performing surgery. That was understanding. I then talked to LASIK consultant Madison. She talked to me about everything but when I asked about how much would be taken from my corneas, she did not know and said that she would check with my surgeon. Long story short, I came in next day to talk to my surgeon, Dr. Wright, he told me not to worry about the surgery too mich but couldnt give me the number. After surgery, I came in today because of my concerns, and talked to Dr. Turk, she gave me the number of my cornea thickness that I had left and how much they took. My right eye cornea is 344 microns and they took away 115 microns. So basically, I used to have 459 microns. Why are the numbers different now? I was told that I had 570-580 microns. Jeremy, the manager, told me that I dont have to worry about that number but only care about how much I have left. That was not an explanation. That was an excuse because you guys lied to me. I understand that you want people to have LASIK for the money, but I would not consider surgery if I knew I only had 459 microns of cornea thickness. Its my personal preference and I was lied to but still did not receive and apology. Jeremy, on the other hand, said that he could release my patient chart if I wanted to but there would be no back and forth regarding this issue. Im no surgeon, no manager, but Im a patient and thats how you talked to your patient who just paid almost $5000 for the surgery?SO IF YOU GUYS CONSIDER LASIK HERE, PLEASE HAVE ALL THE NUMBERS PRINTED AND CHECKED. OR ELSE, PLEASE HAVE LASIK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I did an annual check here that was fully covered by my insurance. However, they billed me for $120 on top of what they charged for my insurance. In following up the issue, they were rude, not responsive, and very frustrating. Then I engaged my insurance representative in our communication, and they accepted that they had overcharged me and my insurance and would send me a reimbursement check that never happened despite my several follow-ups. I eventually gave up on it and will never do business with them again. There are many great optics in Houston with more honest and ethical administration and better quality and prices.
