I got my Lasik surgery done in 2018 for 20/15 correction and doctors never told me that this surgery doesn't guarantee the stable vision. While I went for annual checkup in December 2021, doctor said everything is perfect and prescribed lenses... When I want to talk to Doc, he is busy with his next appointment :(. I waited for some time and there is no symptom of meeting the doc, I returned to home. I called for follow-up and I received a call back and they explained that the sight is not guaranteed with the surgery. Because they screwed up the eye with inappropriate surgery, I ordered glasses as this was hindering my eye-sight during driving. I asked for Crizal lens and the front desk person was more interested on the amount and purchase and never cared about my questions. He always limited himself to the marketing and money and never bothered to answer my questions. This guy charged me with $156.96 on 02/01/2022 and shared me a consolidated bill. When I asked for detailing of this bill, he never responded back. On 02/10/2022 I picked up the glasses and I found that the glasses were very cheap glasses and not the one I asked for (Crizal glasses). When I raised my concern to the lobby team, they told I will receive a call from the office on 02/11/2022 and I never received any call from this office.Mann Eye clinic seems to spin off money like anything without caring of the customer issues and for them only money and only money. This is horrible treatment

I will not be back to this location ever again! I felt like my exam was rushed and all they seemed to want to do is push lasik on me, which I eventually want to do but they didnt seem to think my chronic dry eye was a big deal. However the worst was when I went to order my glasses and sunglasses. The optician (I cant remember her name) did not explain anything to me, didnt tell me what she was doing or ordering besides what frames I picked out. Fast forward to when I received my glasses and theyre fine, but when I received my Costa sunglasses I noticed the prescription lenses in the sunglasses were different than the non-prescription lenses that they come with. I called and asked why and the other optician said that the optician who ordered my glasses didnt order them from Costa but from a different place. I was so upset! I paid good money for the specific sport Costa lenses and thats not what I received. I called to talk to a supervisor named Jeremy, and I have yet to receive a call back about what theyre going to do about my sunglasses, and that was two weeks ago, no call back , no voicemail! I called today and got ignored. I will never come to this place again, I will go back to the Mann eye I used in Austin, yes I would drive all that way to get quality care and service, they were much more throughout and didnt try to push surgery on me and they would probably call me back when I told them I wasnt happy with $500 sunglasses!!!!

My 1st experience with Mann Eye was Monday of this week. My visit was professional and shocking. I learned AFTER my eye exam that Dr Pope doesn't take VSP (vision insurance). This meant that she only takes medical insurance...?? I didn't even know that was possible. During my visit Dr Pope insisted on plucking 2 eyelashes. I told her no 3 times and she refused to take my no. All for me to learn that my Medical Insurance will be billed for "the procedure." What procedure? Plucking 2 eyelashes that I requested be left alone 3 times? My annual eye exam cost me $105 but it normally costs $25. How would you feel Mann Eye & everyone else reading this if you were me?

Beware the MASK POLICE here...especially when some good-for-nothing receptionist decides to make a point to make a bee-line to me because my mask wasn't all the way on. Seriously...even though I was a good 15-20 feet away from the closest person...and, mask mandates are NOT LEGAL IN TEXAS. Gov. Greg Abbott signed legislation NIXING mask mandates in Texas. The ignoramic thing is that the masks are nothing more than political theatre. And if you don't abide by their "house rules", you will be asked to leave the business. MAKE NO MISTAKE...once my eyes have healed from the tear-duct infection, I will not be going back here. The rest of the workers, and especially Dr. Turk, were excellent. But I have ZERO RESPECT for some receptionist trying to be in charge of people. MORONS.
