I had a very unusual experience with Mann eye mostly because of their namesake. I arrived for my appointment for surgery, and while waiting I thought I saw something very disturbing from the corner of my eye. A young lady, whose job appeared to be to walk patients from room to room and out of surgery to the front, was talking to Dr. Mike Mann. She must have been new because he was introducing himself and asking her name etc. All normal, suddenly I saw him grab her mask by the nose area pull it down and snap it back on her face. I was shocked by this and thought there was no way that I saw this. This young lady, appeared to fix her mask and put her hands behind her back and finished the conversation with him. I began to question whether or not i saw what I saw. It was finally, my time to go back and be prepped for my surgery. Dr. Mike Mann came in to introduce himself. He asked me what I did for a living, I answered, and he then pulled my mask down, looked at me and snapped it back on my face. He made some comments about my looks and went about the check up. I am not sure how these woman feel about a man that behaves this way but in my opinion it was very inappropriate. I at least do not have to deal with it on a daily basis and was more offended for the young lady. I called to notify the office manager of my concerns, was put on hold, and told she was in an interview and could not come to the phone, I have yet to receive a call back. Which is why I have decided to tell this story here. I cannot review as to my lasik as my eyes are still adjusting.

Took my daughter's frames to get new lenses and was told a week at the most and now it's 3 weeks and I call and was told they will call the Lab.. I asked what is taking so long and again I'm told "we can call the Lab" then I said that would be nice considering she is struggling in school without her glasses and I got an "uh huh okay yup uh huh" rude much? Used to be a decent place but I will go elsewhere after the glasses come in. Maybe after a week and glasses haven't came in then you should call the Lab and a patient to give an update instead of waiting for a patient to call after 3 weeks. Very disappointed and I bet I still won't get a call letting me know when they will be in. Smh

Had an appointment finally because I missed my 1st appointment called to say Im running a little late should I still come or reschedule they said no I could come on they called me back to tell me I had a $75 copay which is fine get downstairs call to ask where exactly is the office then thats when that Inform me that I had to reschedule ..... now all the communication we had they could have told me it was rescheduled

I received surgery to correct an astigmatism and my vision Rx.I paid 4600 dollars to do so... the warranty they provided give me 2 yrs for touch-ups. Today (nearly two years later) I came in for an exam because i had to cheat at the DMV to pass the eye test... yet Mann Eye Institute says my vision isn't bad enough for them to do any touch-up.Soon i will be out of my warranty period and in a short period will have to use glasses or pay another 4600 dollars to have surgery AGAIN.....The degradation in my vision is substantial enough for me to have problems, but the office says they will not recommend a touch up...??Therefore, I do not recommend Mann Eye Institute.
