Disappointed that I needed to pay a $55 refraction fee after determining the Dr. I saw in November at Mann Eye wrote me the an inaccurate prescription. If I would have known of their 60 day policy, I would have gotten my glasses sooner. Regardless, the wrong prescription was written...why should I have to pay for their error? Today Dr. Morello was fantastic.

Everything was great and i was able to carry on my procedure successfully. Out of pocket cost was decided which included follow up visits. Payment was taken upfront before the procedure. Now they keep sending me bills to pay for followup visit which i already paid upfront. Wouldn't have gone to follow up visit had I knew there was a charge. Spoke to a lady over the phone and she was rude and seemed she's having a bad day. Asked her to send me what I signed to my email but never heard back. However, I keep getting bills without fail. Very disappointed with them at this point; had a better image about this facility. Going to tap BBB and other places if I get another bill in my mail.

WARNING: IF this office promises you anything, always ask them to put it WRITING with the name of the person who said it. Or better yet, just get your lasik somewhere else! Ive attached a photo of my record to show that I'm a real patient here.I had my lasik done by Mann Sr. and my right eye was never 20/20. One month post procedure my right eye was blurry and 3 years later it still is. Not once during my 7 or 8 post op appointments did I actually see Dr. Mann. It was always an optometrist. His beside manners weren't the best either, but that would have been OK if I was 20/20.The office promised to extend my lasik enhancement warranty because I wasnt seeing 20/20 from the start but then claimed they never promised that and had no record of my appointments showing my right eye was blurry. This office claims I was seeing 20/20 even though multiple different optometrists tested my eyes and said I still have astigmatism. Dr. Nguyen prescribed me dry eye drops and refused to send it to the correct pharmacy after I called the office FIVE times. The girls answering phone calls said she sent several messages to the main office to send my eye drops to the correct pharmacy but no one responded.

If I was a doctor, I would never give a referral to this office. My doctor did and he will hear about it the next time I go in. The place is a disaster from the first moment you call. The first bad experience is trying to get an appointment. The people making the appointment refuse to hear every time I said I could only do mornings. They kept giving me other days for the same time that I had previously expressed that I could not make it. Once you have an appointment, it's no better. Let's start with the building itself. All the parkings by the elevator are for electric cars while charging only. I would not have an issue with that, if there were elevators on other areas or the elevators would face both ways. But as they are, you have to park on the opposite side of the elevators and then walk into oncoming traffic. You have to go around 90 degree corners that have no mirrors and you can not see the cars coming towards you and the drivers can not see you until they are on top of you. There's no way to avoid that mess. Once you are in the building, the wait is not so bad, probably 15-30 minutes after your schedule appointment time. Then they transfer you to what looks like an interrogation room, with no windows, nothing to break the monotony of the room, except the chair where they do the mandatory visual exam every time you go. I want to make clear that whatever procedure you are going to, even if they already know what they have to do, they will not do it for at least 3 visits. Visits where you will see the doctor for a total of 2 minutes tops. The doctor is another story. He does NOT listen at all, and quite frankly I do question his knowledge for anything that is not laser surgery. I had questions that went unanswered and I had to do my own google search to find what they were. How is it that I can find it on google, but being his specialty the doctor can not answer? However, the main reason why this office is getting only one star(and the actually don't even deserve one star) is because they are irresponsible. I had a procedure schedule for 10 am and I got a call at 9 am on the same day that the doctor had to leave for a more expensive procedure in The Woodlands and since he did not realized that it was going to take longer to drive there he needed to cancel my appointment. An appointment that I had waited 6 weeks for. And that by the way, from that day on, the doctor had decided that he was only going to see patients on Wednesday. My biggest upset with that is that they can cancel on me 1 hour before the appointment, but I have to cancel days in advanced to avoid being charged? RESPECT and responsibility goes both ways. I find the doctor extremely unprofessional. Bottom line, it took 3 visits to simply remove a Stye. Excuse after excuse and by the third visit I basically had to beg to get it removed. It has been almost 6 weeks since my appointment and he never removed the whole thing. I will not go back to him since he did not do the job properly and they have charged my insurance already over $500, not to mention my co pays. I did not find anything good about this office and will certainly tell everyone I know not to go there.
