I had initially scheduled a LASIK surgery with Mann Eye after a brief consultation expressing that I was a great candidate and, seeking a second opinion, visited Dell Lasers. The contrast in the professionalism and patient care between the two establishments was striking. The staff at Dell Lasers, particularly the surgeon I spoke to, demonstrated a high level of confidence in their assessment that I am not a suitable candidate for LASIK. They took the time to thoroughly explain the reasons behind their determination, patiently addressing all my concerns and questions. Their clarity and kindness were evident, making me feel reassured about the decision-making process. In an attempt to gain clarification and reconcile the conflicting opinions, I revisited Mann Eye to speak with Dr. Cessac. Unfortunately, the encounter was far from satisfactory. Dr. Cessac was condescending, refused to answer my questions, and spoke rapidly, making it difficult for me to comprehend the technical terms she used. Instead of providing the necessary information, she belittled her peers in the industry and essentially dismissed my concerns with a discouraging, "don't do this surgery if you are having questions."Feeling appalled by the lack of transparency and assistance, I decided to cancel my surgery with Mann Eye. As I was leaving, the assistant, in contrast to Dr. Cessac, took the time to answer my questions and explained the differences in laser technology between Mann Eye and Dell Lasers. It's disheartening to have had such a negative experience, especially considering Mann Eye was recommended to me by friends. I believe that when it comes to a procedure as significant as LASIK, patients deserve clear communication and the opportunity to understand the technology involved. Regrettably, Dr. Cessac's dismissive attitude has left me with no choice but to seek care elsewhere, where my concerns are acknowledged and addressed.I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for Mann Eye to reconsider their approach to patient communication and ensure a more positive experience for future patients.

Went in for a lasik consultation and the doctor seemed impatient and annoyed at my questions. Then they said theyd give me a call the next day, but didnt. I called them and they said to try again in a few years. The medical assistant seemed to contradict that statement so I asked should I be trying again in a few years? Is it actually possible for me to get this surgery in the future but never even responded to multiple messages.

Husband had lasik & all was well initially. His vision changed very shortly after, within their warranty period and he was made to believe it was a normal change so they they didnt have to repeat his lasik at no cost! Despite multiple attempts to have them redo the lasik as it seems to have failed they did everything in their power to not redo the procedure we paid over $7k for! He was back to wearing glasses within 8mos of the procedure! We went to Mann Eye for their reputation, but clearly its a farse!! Buyer beware!

I made an ophthalmology appointment for blurry vision and an irritated eye. I booked the appointment over a month in advance. After ~2 hours of getting images, having my eyes dilated, doing a vision exam, and waiting, I was told the Ophthalmologist was in a meeting so I would have to wait before seeing him. About 5 minutes later, someone else came in and said that the meeting was not going to end soon and that I should go. I was charged a copay for the price of an ophthalmologist anyways -- this is legally questionable at best.I was told by whoever I saw instead of the ophthalmologist (I don't know who, my eyes were dilated so I couldn't read the badge) that my blurry vision was because of dry eyes and was given eye drops to use. I will try them, but I explicitly said multiple times that I had already tried eye drops for my irritated eye and it did not work, so I am not optimistic.I was also told that I have a slight astigmatism, and that wearing glasses might help with things like driving at night (even though that has never been an issue for me). I had to ask the front desk for the glasses prescription information because they did not otherwise tell me or write down for me what it was. I am hoping the glasses can help with my vision.Overall, it felt like I got scammed out of $150.
