The eye doctors here are excellent, however, the billing system/department leaves a lot to be desired. I have excellent insurance, came to my surgery prepared today my ENTIRE PORTION of the surgery on the day of my first surgery. I was told a different price than what I was originally quoted, which I paid. I was told that my original quote was incorrect. Imagine how I felt the day before my appointment, I am called and told that oh, I owe $200.00! Remember, I went to surgery prepared to pay my portion of the entire surgery! So again, the surgeons are excellent, but billing needs a lot of work to be done.

I bought a pair of glasses and the frames were almost $600. I loved the frames and they came with a 1 year warranty. The frames broke while on my face, driving to work. i returned the broken frames to the location where I bought them A week after returning the frames I received a call from Mann Eye offering to to replace the frames for $285, close to half of the cost. Their explanation was that the warranty covered manufactures defects and that most manufacturers defects occur within the first 90 days. And that since my glasses were almost 8 months.old that they were not covered under the warranty. My first concern is who determined that there was not a manufacturers defect and how did they make that determination.Any company that will not honor it warranty and contracts is not a company worth doing business with.

Appointment was for 10:15.... Showed up at 10:10 and sat until 11:15. An hour wait at the eye doctor seriously ??! Slowest moving place I have ever been.

After writing my review of the Mann Eye Clinic in Humble, a representative, Ashley H. did call place a call to me. I attempted to return her call on several occasions, only to continually get her voicemail. I left several messages asking her to call me again. My last message was if she did not connect with me, to at least leave a time in which she would be available to take my call. I have never heard back after her initial call. This leads me to believe that the comment from the Mann Eye Institute representative, under my initial review, was not genuine and that their lack of concern for their loyal patients ( at least in my opinion and experience) and more concern on taking your money still stands. This is such a shame since I was very pleased with my actual eye surgeon at this location.
