So, I have been a patient with Mann Eye Institute for a few years now, and they always give me excellent care! I would like to mention two of my most recent experiences. First of all, I had to schedule an unplanned visit to their office because I had contracted a bad case of pink eye just a couple weeks before my wedding. Dr. Mann was so nice, and gave me a sample of a very expensive medication that made my pink eye go away very quickly. Thank you Dr. Mann!!! My wedding turned out beautifully, thanks to you!brbrMost recently, my new husband had a job change, which we just found out would leave us without health insurance for over 3 months. I have glaucoma, and have to take Lumigan every day to control my eye pressure. I am almost out of eye drops, and started investigating what the cash price would be for Lumigan. I called the maker Allergan directly, and they told me it would cost between $400 to $700. I couldnt believe it was going to cost that much. Anna, with Mann Eye Institute spent time with you on a few occasions going over what other options might be helpful. She recommended an online pharmacy that is going to give me over a three month supply of Lumigan for $139. That figures out to be $46.33 per bottle. I am SOOOOO THANKFUL to Anna for taking the extra time, and making the extra effort to help me save on my prescription!!! Thank you Anna, and thank you Mann Eye!!

I have to say that Im disappointed with the results of my wifes Lasik surgery, especially when you consider the cost.brbrShe had her Lasik surgery done 3 1/2 years ago and started experiencing problems with her vision around a year ago (had a baby, so just didnt have the opportunity to get another exam done). We recently visited our optometrist and it turns out she now needs glasses again.brbrI myself had Lasik done 10 years ago (not from Mann Eye) and my vision has remained perfect, and I paid about half the cost of what Mann Eye charges. I called Mann Eye to see what they could do and wed be looking at paying another $1,500 per eye for a refinement.brbrI expected wed have to pay a fee for a refinement but thats completely crazy for what amounts to a few hours worth of work.brbrUPDATE: I upgraded this to 2 stars because a representative from Mann Eye reached out to me (almost immediately) to address some of my concerns. I definitely appreciate the fast response and they are willing to work with me on the costs as well as doing a free eye exam to re-diagnose my wife. I will update again when theres progress.brbrUPDATE: True to their word, Mann Eye took good care of us and offered us a great discount for a corrective procedure. They explained thoroughly why my wifes eyesite had degraded and I feel that we are partially to blame because we didnt act sooner when the problems first surfaced. Whatever the case, Im pleased with the follow-up and that they were able to work something out with us.
