I feel obliged to recount the disastrous experience I suffered at the hands of Mann Eye Institute office, located in The Woodlands on Lake Robbins Dr. This establishment, where professional aptitude seems to be an alien concept and patient care is met with outright disrespect, has given me an eye-opening experience in the truest sense. In October, I visited for an eye exam due to a decrease in vision with my existing glasses. The doctor nonchalantly provided two new prescriptions, one for progressive glasses and the other for computer glasses. The carelessness exhibited during this process was just the beginning of a long and torturous journey. The computer glasses were fine, but the progressive pair spiraled into a long-winded saga of discomfort and blurred vision, despite multiple frame replacements and adjustments. After three excruciating months of trying to adapt to the new progressive lenses, I decided to get a second opinion, which shockingly revealed the error in the prescription given by the doctor at Mann Eye Institute. But the appalling incompetence doesn't end with the doctor's error. When I called to discuss the issue, I was met with complete denial and alarming rudeness from their office manager, Vennoka. Her attitude was not just unprofessional but displayed a disturbing lack of empathy and accountability. The severe oversight, negligence, and lack of quality control at Mann Eye Institute is beyond inexcusable. The institution has failed to uphold its duty of care and has shown complete disregard for the impact of its mistakes on patients' lives. I would strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice. If you value your vision, your time, and your hard-earned money, avoid the Mann Eye Institute at all costs. Their indifference towards their professional responsibilities is as glaring as their ineptitude. I regretfully rate my experience as one star, simply because zero isn't an option.
