    Horrible experience. I made an appointment for a simple contact prescription- I didn't even need to change my prescription, I just needed a valid prescription to order more contacts. I arrived early, filled out my new patient paperwork and waited an hour. A tech finally called me back and did the standard tests but then informed me that the doctor would have to redo all the tests just to make sure. Then I waited ANOTHER hour. I should have walked out. What is the point of having an appointment if you have to wait two hours? When I finally saw the doctor, I was fuming and she lightheartedly apologized for being late. It was very disrespectful. I don't care who you are or if you are a doctor with a tight schedule, my time is just as valuable as yours. Also, she changed the type of contact brand I had been using for the last 6 years without my knowledge (probably because they are more expensive) and I went home having lost 3 hours of my time and having to deal with contacts that I hated. Terrible experience. If you want a simple exam, DO NOT go here.

    I came here for the first time on the day my mom got her lasik surgery. By the way all the staff was talking to my mother it seemed as if they had known each other for years. I forgot the name of the staff member but she stood by me the entire time my mom was getting her procedure. There was a window where I could watch and see the details of the procedure on a television screen. The kind staff member explained each step to me as it was done. <br><br>After seeing their hands on customer service I began to use Dr. Janes as my optometrist. He and another staff member that works with him were kind enough to explain why and how my contacts work rather than slapping some contacts on me and calling it a day as my previous optometrist would have done. I am very pleased with their service and their explanations that I even had my father and brother start using Dr. Janes, which I obviously highly recommend.

    What a disappointing experience. The assistant who brought me in to the first room was really friendly and great. But the next hour plus I spent in the second waiting area while I waited to actually be seen by the dr was unbearable. The Spring clinic is much newer, cleaner and faster ... Unfortunately I had to come here to see the surgeon. I may have to reconsider sticking with them long term. My appointment was at 2pm. 90+ minutes later and I'm still waiting and on the verge of leaving to make another appointment I have in the woodlands this evening. I expect doctors to be on time to see me, or at least see me within a reasonable amount of time. Can I charge you for the time I spent sitting here waiting? My time is just as valuable as yours doctors. Jumping off my soap box now.

    I can't thank the staff at Mann Eye Institute in Katy enough for their care through my LASIK procedure. I visited several different doctors before deciding to go with Mann. From my first conversation with Ashley Hassen on the phone I knew I made the right choice. Ashley was very informative and laid out all the options for me. I actually waited another 3 months after that initial visit to have the procedure. Ashley would check in with me during that time too. Procedure day couldn't have been any better. Dr. Wright and Tina Doring were awesome. Talked me through the whole procedure. All I can say is WOW. To go from not being able to see a foot in front of my face to clear vision is amazing. I really don't know why i waited so long to have it done. The followup appointments with Dr. Wright and Tina Doring were excellent. Explaining how my eyes were healing and what I could expect over the next weeks and months. If you are considering LASIK Mann, Dr. Wright, Ashley and Tina are the ones to SEE (pun intended.)
