    April 11, 2022Since I never received a response from my mailed letter to Dr. Michael Mann I am once again forwarding my letter in hopes that Dr. Mann will read my complaint. I assume the "gatekeeper" receptionist intercepted my letter and trashed it instead of forwarding it to Dr. Mann.March 14, 2022Paul MIchael Mann, MD FACS5115 Main StreetHouston, TX 77002Dr. Mann,My wife had a 1:45 p.m. appointment with Dr. Phillip Brunson today for a follow up. We arrived ten minutes late due to a major automobile accident backing up traffic on IH-45 South. As I apologized to the receptionist for being late she replied "Oh no, no problem at all, you're ok". Having checked in my wife and I took a seat in the waiting area along with three other patients. At this point the time was 2:00 p.m. per my watch.As we waited for my wife to be called those three patients had been called on and left the waiting area. Meanwhile other newly arrived patients were entering the waiting area as well. At about 2:30 p.m. I asked the receptionist how much longer we would have to wait to be called and I was told that it would not be too much longer. I asked if we were being "puniished" for being late for our apointment and the receptionist found my question to be funny. At that point I started to count the number of new patients which were arriving for their appointments since the initial three patients had already completed their appointments and left. I counted nine (9) patients who had arrived after my wife and I arrived and some were being called. The time now was about 2:45 p.m. as we patiently waited to be called. At 3:00 p.m. I was told by the receptionist that my wife was next to be called. Three patients meanwhile were called on and my wife still remained to be called. My wife then told me that if she wasn't called by 3:30 p.m. we should just leave and go back home, never to return. Finally at 3:24 p.m. my wife was finally called by the technician. My wife then began to complain to the technician as to why it took so long for her to be called, as they walked to the back offices. Dr. Mann, we have been loyal customers of Mann Eye Institute for 15 years now. This is the second time which we have been treated as such. My wife is recovering from a recent heart attack and she did not need any additional stress such as that of having to wait so long to be called. We had to sit and wait ONE HOUR AND TWENTY FIVE minutes in the waiting area before my wife was finally called on for her appointment. This is obviously a lack of management and a lack of respect for the patients at Mann Eye Institute. I personally do feel that we were being "punished" because we were ten minutes late for our appointment. There is no excuse for someone to have to wait approximately 1-1/2 hours to be called by the technician. Those Supervisors and Managers need to get out from behind their desk and go see to it that those patients who are waiting are being attended to, and if not, find out why.Thank you,Jesse R.

    Dr Tatiana Noroozian is incredible. Not only she has taken great care of my eye health, but also she is lovely to speak to at my first appointment. Its rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

    It is a joy to come to Mann Eye especially the North Austin location. We drive from College Station because the staff are so helpful and ALWAYS in a good/positive mood. Awesome customer service. Dr Beavers is so thorough and gentle. The optical assistant, Dahyana, was very knowledgeable and recommended several things to help me take better care of my eyes to prevent future issues. Sarah, optician, walked us through how to best utilize our benefits and we were able to purchase 4 sets of glasses instead of 2 for my husband and me. Frequently recommend to others. Love Mann Eye!!!
