    I really had high expectations when I made my appointment here. However, I feel now that the staff here care very little for their patients. Primarily, I was 15-20 mins early for my appointment, but had to wait a half hour past my appointment time to be seen. The nurse(?) who first saw me was very nice, but did not explain the tests very well. I do not speak the medical optometry jargon... My eyes were then dilated (for the first time) and I was not told what to expect and was then taken to YET ANOTHER waiting room. Once I finally saw the doctor he was nice, but did not explain anything he was doing. He also made a big push for me to get Lasik when I am not even a candidate due to the changes in my prescription. I felt like I was just someone else they wanted to pump for money. <br><br>When the time came to order my contact lenses, the lady who helped me was again very pushy that I get glasses in addition to my contacts, despite the insistence that my glasses are fine. She also was very confused while ordering my contacts and had just about finished the order when she (finally) noticed that I need two different RX strengths. I was handed a lot of papers to sign (which I could not read due to dilated pupils). When the cost came back much higher than expected she gave me a half-assed explanation as to why. Finally when it was time to leave I was not given or offered disposable sunglasses to wear and my drive home was dangerous at best. <br><br>When I could finally read, I saw that she had ordered too many boxes of contacts (not what I thought we had agreed upon). I called and was told I would get a refund check. After almost 2 months and 3 more phone calls I finally got the check in the mail and finally feel comfortable posting this review. <br><br>I will not be returning to the Mann Eye Institute, nor will I order more lenses from them. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, you have lost a patient.

    Nice facility, certainly stay busy. Since i have to go to an eye doctor, i choose this one.

    I've been coming to Dr.Guy Beavers for years and loved the service and experience every single time I came in. Now I've been back almost three time since he sold it to Mann Eye and every time I say that it will be the last time. Person at the front desk does NOT listen. I called and wanted to order a 6 month supply of contact for my right eye. I was having problems with the contact tearing when removing at night and ran out quicker then my left eye. They said that I had to come in for a full exam and a contact fitting. I then found out my insurance only covered me for bi yearly eye exams. I still made the appointment and came in. They then told me I could just order the right contacts.....why would I do that when they tear after wearing two days to a week? I NEED ANOTHER BRAND so I need to do a contact fitting. They said I need to do the full exam and the contact fitting to get my right contact. Thank you for making me pay $230 and then the cost of the contacts. No thank you I will go elsewhere that will work with me!!!!!!

    My experience with Mann Eye was great and everything happened so quickly, which was definitely a plus since I am moving to Cali in a month and wanted it done beforehand!! I was able to schedule a consult right away, and scheduled my LASIK for the week following. The results are also fantastic--my vision is great! Everyone in the office is so friendly and caring. I recommend ANYONE to get LASIK with Mann eye! A+++++
