After almost ten years using contact lenses, last year I suddenly became allergic to them. I tried many optometrists until I found doctor Mann. Their customer service is very impressive. Their staff really take care of you. They treated my eye allergies. My eyes never felt better. I had my LASIK with Dr. Mann last summer. I even took my sister to get her LASIK with doctor Mann as well. Mann Eye Institute exemplifies the best qualities of patient care.

My initial phone call with David was very informative. I set up an appointment for 3 weeks (no contact period) and met Kevin who was personable and very knowledgeable. The surgery went as expected and uneventful. It was quick and painless. They have the latest and most advanced technology. The results are awesome. I can see without glasses or contacts. Thanks to Kevin, Connie, and Dr Paul Mann for suggesting Blended Vision. I was reluctant to try Blended Vision but 3 days after the surgery, I have determined it is perfect for me. At 51, I was needing reading glasses occasionally, or sliding my contact to the side. With Blended Vision, I can see up close and in the distance. It didn't take any time for me to get used to it.

I recently had IntraLASIK surgery through Eye Excellence, and I highly recommend them. I went in for my consultation in mid-December, and after I found out that I qualified, I was able to schedule an appointment for the end of January. They do all of their LASIK procedures on one or two Fridays each month, so your choice of days is a little bit limited. Other than that, everything went very smoothly.They explained the entire process up front in and provided as much detail as I wanted. They also answered all of my questions, and followed up the week before my procedure to remind me to get my prescription eye drops and use them the day before. The whole process the day of the surgery lasted about two hours, and it was completely painless. I haven't had any problems since the surgery, and I can see perfectly!The only thing I wish they could have done differently is give me a copy of the images from my eye scans like they do at MRI clinics. For some reason they wouldn't do it. They also have two different waiting areas, and it gets a little confusing in there when they are crowded. I had to wait an extra 15 or 20 minutes during one of my follow-up appointments, but all of my other appointments went well, I can't really complain.Overall, I definitely recommend Eye Excellence to anyone looking to get LASIK surgery. They took great care of me.

My husband and I went for the free consultation for LASIK and scheduled him for the procedure. Julie was extremely helpful and helped with some rescheduling issues and a lost prescription all via email. The day of the procedure, we arrived at 3 o'clock for his appointment. We waited until 4:10 until a young man gathered everyone together to go over the drops and post-surgical instructions. While they were going over everything, my husband was called to the back, but wasn't able to go when called because of this. I felt this was a very poor use of time and after waiting for so long, they should have been done going over post-op care long before. Once in the back, the technician came in and cleaned his eyes with a gauze with no gloves on and she left the room without washing her hands. I saw several employees in the back operatory hallways walking around with Starbucks and in a medical facility that needs to be kept in the break room. I got to stand outside and watch the surgery on a tv monitor. It was quick and even though my husband was not very happy immediately after, his memory of the procedure is fading quickly and he's ecstatic that his vision is basically perfect three days later. He did complain that he didn't meet the doctor until the day of the surgery and he felt as though he was "scolded" a bit during the procedure. Upon completion of the treatment, he was shuffled right out the door, no time to decompress and no one to ask questions to on the way out. This is a kind of "get-in-get-out" place that seems to have a huge disconnect between the front and back offices. I think they still deserve four stars, but for my surgery I will be looking for a smaller, more compassionate office.

So I didn't get my LASIK done by Mann Eye but with Diagnostic Eye Center. They use the same facility to do the procedures which is why the price is probably lower. This location is in the middle of the town center on the second floor so who ever takes you to have the procedure done has plenty of things to do if they don't want to actually watch the procedure (which they can if they want). It has a modern look and everything looks very new and clean. The machines that did my procedure are the newest technology with the intra-lace and wave. Wi-fi is also available for people waiting. Whole prcedure was less than an hour. Place was easy to get to and top notch.
