    I arrived late to an appointment and was not seen for one and a half hours. I sat right in front of the receptionists (there were multiple) and I was completely ignored. I believe in customer service because I give extraordinary customer service. The receptionists were clueless and they were all very apologetic AFTER I WAITED AND ASKED FOR MY RECORDS SO I COULD TRANSFER TO FIND ANOTHER FACILITY. Terrible because this place is normally excellent, I don't know who dropped the ball but it was HUGE. I am not happy about this and I hope we all can learn from this terrible experience. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH DEALING WITH THEM! The doctors are great, however! SO SAD!

    I was referred to Dr. Mary Green by a co-worker and while interested in LASIK, had my hesitations around the whole experience. After meeting with several different members of the Eye Excellence Staff and going through the LASIK consultation with Steven, all my doubts and hesitations went away. I never waited more than 10 minutes for any appointment, all my questions were answered and I was given all the information I needed to make a decision on whether or not to go through with the surgery. Day of I was very nervous, but all the doctors in the operating room were friendly and kept me informed of what was happening throughout the entire surgery. I am now seeing 20/15 and couldn't be happier with the results! I will be recommending Dr. Green and her staff to everyone I know.

    Everyone at the Sugar Land locations was GREAT!! I required four pre-op visits due to wearing hard lenses for 30 years. Each and every visit I was greeted warmly. There was rarely a short wait (if any). Each and every step was explained to me in order to calm my nerves and the outcome is WONDERFUL! It has only been one day and I am already 20/20 for distance and have almost perfect near vision which will improve over the next few days I expect. I would highly recommend this facility!!

    Excellent Customer service...Very friendly staff..i had this procedure performed by Dr.Mike Mann he is just beyond awesome...He made my Lasik way simple and my vision is 20/20!<br>I'm so happy with these results and also i 'm not really experiencing any dryness problem with my eyes. I'm glad i choosed Mann Eye Institute for my LASIk..!!

    The best part about this experience was the opthamologist's assistant. The doctor was kind as well, but I felt as though she was the most accommodating. The main reason I am giving only two stars is because of the horrible receptionist. She seemed like another receptionist who was incapable and unwilling to just do their job. Like the reviewer James P said in his review, she argued with me about my insurance not covering my contact lens fitting or even my contacts, and that I would have to pay out of pocket. When I asked her to verify (because I knew I was 100% covered) she argued with me that they would not cover it, and if they did, they would refund WEEKS later. I was infuriated with the fact that the receptionist was assuming without verifying, arguing with me without facts, and acting as if paying $1500 out of pocket for a fitting and lenses that ARE covered by my insurance was no biggie. She was so unwillingly to call my insurance, I had to ask her seven times to do it. I don't understand why my insurance wasn't verified before I arrived. I also didn't understand why she couldn't even try to be helpful. This is the most stressful experience I have had at an eye doctor's office, and it all could have simply been solved with a phone call beforehand. To make matters worse, when I called my insurance to do a conference call with the receptionist, my insurance told me she had called but hung up on them after they said I was covered 100% and would not have to pay anything. However, after she was informed of this, she lied to me and told me my insurance requires them to file a claim and then "maybe" I'll get my money back if they cover it. I just kind of feel like this place is sketchy and unhelpful to the customer.
