    I was referred to Dr Green after a botched surgery in Amarillo that was followed by recommendation for cataract surgery from the same clinic. I did a lot more research on Dr Green than I had done in connection with the Amarillo doctor and had the cataract and LASIK procedures. Surgery was performed in two sessions, each went exactly as described. Results were outstanding, vision in damaged eye actually improved. I have since moved to Houston and continue to go to Dr Green. I am very, very pleased with results. My vision is stable, I do not need corrective lenses except for small print. Eye Excellence is a quality operation.

    Place is nice on the inside, very crowded when I was there. I told the ladies behind the desk I needed an exam for contact and only wanted them to do what my insurance would cover -- including the fitting.Exam went well, go out to pay, they charged me $200. When I asked them how that could be because I specifically asked to not do anything my insurance wouldn't cover, they said "the fitting is $189".Literally the doctor came in and watched me put in my contacts, asked if they were comfortable, and that was it.In the long run I could have gone some where else and been covered by insurance. I've been to places before that did the exams and fitting for less than the $200 fitting they charged me, WITHOUT using insurance.This is the type of eye mill that is in it for the insurance claims. I won't be back anytime soon.

    I arrived late to an appointment and was not seen for one and a half hours. I sat right in front of the receptionists (there were multiple) and I was completely ignored. I believe in customer service because I give extraordinary customer service. The receptionists were clueless and they were all very apologetic AFTER I WAITED AND ASKED FOR MY RECORDS SO I COULD TRANSFER TO FIND ANOTHER FACILITY. Terrible because this place is normally excellent, I don't know who dropped the ball but it was HUGE. I am not happy about this and I hope we all can learn from this terrible experience. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH DEALING WITH THEM! The doctors are great, however! SO SAD!

    I went to Mann Eye Institute in Sugar Land to get help with severe dry eyes. I was unable to wear contacts for longer than a couple of hours without having major issues. The receptionists were incredibly rude on my very first visit and did not answer the questions I had. A few weeks after my appointment I called to order my contacts and they said they would call me back when they were ready. Over the holidays I knew there would be some delays but over 4 weeks later I called back and they never placed my order in the first place. When I asked them if they could please place my order they had the wrong contact brand and location for me on file. This eye center is completely unorganized and unprofessional. My mother just had eye surgery with them recently and also experienced the same unprofessionalism as I did. They forced her to reschedule her appointment several times and to pay with cash only, no checks or card and all at once. They offered no payment plans.
