The Mann Eye Institute is a well oiled process that does everything just right. They have automated check in at the Humble location. So you can check yourself in. Thats great if you could see what youre doing. The institute also has plenty of helpful people around to guide you what to do next and where to go. They have plenty of paperwork so you can go over what to do and not to do. Once your procedure begins you are brought in to an area where the drops start and keep coming every few minutes for a while until they either have your eyes prepped or your turn in line is next. They never really tell you youll be fully awake scared half to death during the procedure. The do give you a vallium which is suppose to calm you. I felt no calming during any of the procedure. The surgeon was kind and obvious very competent and tried to calm me. Then suddenly youre done. No time to calm down or get the promised snack. You are hearded out the door with an eye guard and told to go purchase eye drops. So all in all they are competent, however I felt like hearded cattle during the whole process.

Very caring, efficient, proficient doctors and staff. On time appointments. Dr. Gilder is very caring, informative - great addition to the office. Dr. Melton did cataract work on my eyes a few years ago. I was extremely pleased with the laser work she performed for me. I can't say enough about the competence and care of everyone I have dealt with at the Mann Eye Clinic. I recommend them highly.

Very easy scheduling process. Appointment was quick and efficient. Staff was pleasant. They made me feel all Covid precautions were taken.

After over 10 yrs of having Lasik, i am still loving it. I recently did a eye check up and was pleased, i was not made to wait, any questions i had were explained and the staff was very courteous.
