The wait time was excessive. My appointment was at 9:40. I didn't see the doctor until after 11am and did not get out of the office until almost 11:30.

I always have a good experience when I go to The Mann Eye Institute. The staff is always friendly and my doctor is very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. The facility is very clean and check in is quick and easy.

Please read all the way through as it starts out great and ends with a disappointment!!! Two years ago I decided to have IOL's or inter ocular lens implants and chose Mann eye to correct my cataracts. I'm not naming names in this review as I thought everyone at this clinic was very professional and courteous but here's a general synapses of the outcome. After my surgeries I was informed that there may be a possibility of secondary cataracts that could be treated in the office and that my insurance would cover it. I thought this was a strange time to be informing me of this because up till now the lenses were the greatest thing since sliced bread. I was however overwhelmed by the results. I choose the multi-focus lenses at a premium cost that came out to around $8000 for the pair. The first six months I was completely happy with the results then I somehow got pink eye in not one but both eyes. I have never had pink eye in my life! I was prescribed some eye drops to clear it up and was happy once again. Here's where the disappointment sets in. I somehow suffered a detached vitreous in January of 2020 which has blurred my vision ever since. By blur I mean that there is a gel like blob floating around in my eye like the floaters you often see. At first I thought it was the secondary cataracts and was treated for such but after the fourth session hardly any improvement as was basically told to get used to it and my brain would compensate for the distortion. Unfortunately it's my dominant eye so, Not what I was wanting to hear! The staff and doctors are all very friendly and knowledgeable but DO YOUR RESEARCH and ask questions. I pretty much took everyone at face value and was later given key information that would have given me a pause to reconsider my choice. I still have a blob affecting my vision and there's also a problem with double vision that comes and goes which is a real problem when driving.
