I called to make an appointment to take care of a chalazion on my right eye. I was able to schedule for the same day (5/18/2021)....the fact that I had the procedure same day was nice. The procedure went fine. It felt a little rushed, but it was fine. That was where my good experience ended. After the procedure, I checked out. It wasn't until I got to my car that I realized I didn't get any aftercare instructions. Not a problem, I thought. I'll just call and have them email the instructions. I called and left a message. No response. I called my pharmacy and was told the prescription that Dr. Green had sent in (doxycycline 200mg slow release) was going to be $70. I've never paid that much for an antibiotic. I called Mann Eye back and was told to go on "goodrx.com" and use the coupon for it. There is no coupon for this dosage medication on there. The pharmacy confirmed this. After calling on 4 separate occasions over 2 days. I got someone on the phone. They said that Dr. green refused to change the prescription because "that's what she prescribes". It's hard for me to believe there is no alternative to a $70 medication. The lady (Cathy) that I spoke with informed me that she would have to handle it tomorrow because she gets off at 5pm and that's the soonest she would be able to get to it. She kept telling me to go on "Goodrx.com" to find the coupon. Again, I couldn't find it. She tried and she couldn't either. She insisted that her coworker (who conveniently wasn't in the office) had found it. $70 may not sound like a lot, but I am in the military and have limited income. My 2 y/o son was diagnosed with leukemia in January. Between paying for at home child care and cancer treatment/medications for him, I just don't have $70 to spend on an antibiotic. This is one of the most frustrating medical experiences that I've had. It seems like Dr Green isn't interested in helping. So now I'm waiting until tomorrow (48 hours after the procedure) before I can try AGAIN to get this resolved. And....I still haven't received the aftercare instructions that I requested to be emailed to me. Absolutely WILL NOT EVER recommend this place to anyone. It would be nice to speak to someone that can resolve this.

My mother had an appointment and she went alone not knowing English. Enzo was the one who helped my mom. Very knowledgeable and hes bilingual. He was with my mom her whole visit translating. My mother came home so happy and relieved that Mann Eye had someone to help her since she was nervous about having a difficult time not understanding English. Will be taking the rest of my family to Mann Eye from now since the staff were very friendly and patient. Thank you Enzo and thank you Mann eye for having wonderful drs and staff.
