Pacific Eye Associates were great in squeezing me in an appointment in the afternoon when my eye was irritating me. The doctors are great but they are always busy. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and ended up waiting for another hour. They took me this room and that because the staffers were dealing with so many patients. It became ridiculous and I was getting frustrated until I finally met my doctor, Dr. Lin. He deserves 5 stars but the service and wait dropped it down to a 3.

Oh how much do I love Dr. Fung... I've been to ophthalmologists all over the place and she's been the most patient, helpful, considerate, and competent of them all. I highly recommend her if you have a detached retina or anything else.

If you have Brown & Toland as your medical group with your insurance, you don't need a referral to see an opthalmologist which is fantastic since I can't stand playing the primary care doctor/HMO referral game. I had a great tech, and Dr. Fung was friendly and put me at ease when I went to get my sad eyes checked out. My only complaint is that the wait to check in was very long, but I attribute this to the average age of a patient at an eye clinic, which can make things go pretty slowly.

I saw Dr Lin and was truly impressed. Was so anxious and worried about my eye infection before I arrived and about using a different country's health care system, but he was just great. He totally put me at ease and explained things so well, answered all my questions and concerns that I felt I was getting better as soon as I stepped out of his office.
