Overall, every person I interacted with during my visit to this office, with the exception of the person who escorted me to the checkout counter while my eyes were dilated, was very rushed, and treated me resentfully, as if I was some unpleasant burden to them.1) when I called this clinic with a referral for urgent care as part of a multi-symptom assessment, I asked if they could please email me any paperwork in advance as I have a disability which makes handwriting painful. Person I spoke with said 'no' without even checking, and then said there was only one small page of forms anyway.2) upon arriving for my appointment the next morning, I was handed a clipboard of 3 forms to complete. I replied that this was a problem as a disability access issue, and that I had previously requested any forms that required handwriting be sent, and that this is something that needs to be looked at as a disability access issue. They looked at me as if I was a) offensive and b) from another planet.3) I sat down to (painfully) attempt completing the clip board of forms they'd handed me. As soon as I started, I was called back into the exam area where my eyes were promptly dilated. I had not received any information before my appointment that my eyes would be dilated. This is a safety issue, and lucky for me, I didn't drive there. Also, I had not yet (painfully) completed their clipboard of forms, and was expected to do so after my eyes were dilated (when it's impossible to focus)4) the examining doctor told me nothing was wrong (which is great news, despite my symptoms) and to take eyedrops to keep my eyes more moist. She specified artificial tears, which I was completely unfamiliar with, and I politely asked the doctor if those were different than rewetting drops, and she said 'same thing but artificial tears' I asked if I could use them with contact lenses, and she said yes but for contact lenses. and I was confused so I asked if these were the same as regular contact lens re-wetting drops. The doctor became visibly aggravated, and verbally short with me, did not clarify the answer in a way that I could understand, and this made me feel incredibly invalidated and upset. At that point, I stopped asking for help understanding what in the world she was telling me to go out and purchase.5) following my exam I was escorted to the checkout counter. The person at the register told me that the doctor wanted me to return for a followup and that also there was a note that I should get a new exam for contacts/eyeglasses. I scheduled an appointment, and asked if they also did optometry, she said yes, and I said 'great, because I need that. Please may I have a price list." Then the person at the register handed me a printout with my appointment information, and said 'we don't have a price list." then gestured gestured away from her, and said 'it's over there.' I looked over to where she was gesturing. Looked back at her, and was confused and said 'okay.' I turned to walk over to the area where she had gestured, and while I did so, she stood up, aggressively, stormed over to that area she'd gestured to, approached a worker who was sitting there, and began whispering in his ear while covering over so I couldn't see her mouth and pointed at me.Mid-whisper, the man she was whispering to, began saying to me loudly and dismissively, "we don't have a price list!" and "it's all going to depend on what you need" and I said, "great, I'd be happy to tell you what I need." And he stood up, came over to me, and the register lady came over also, and he said, "no no, we don't have price lists." as if I was somehow stupid for asking for how much I should expect to pay for optometry services.I said, (calmly, even) "I think you guys are being pretty unreasonable, to be honest."The pair continued to talk at me, but at that point I walked away, out of their office, and felt upset. Can not recommend. At all.

This place is a factory. So busy that Drs and nurses are actually running around. Was there for hours getting checkup for cataract surgery. Was told by DR himself that I could have the surgery scheduled before I move in 2 1/2 months. Guess what? There is a 20 person wait list and there's NO chance. Total waste of time and money. No stars for this mad house.

This very large practice with around 11 doctors feels like a discombobulated jumble of musical chairs. I was early to my appointment as was told when I made my appointment for paperwork which was a short 2 page intake. I felt the cattle prod immediately when out of 5 front desk attendants only one was working and seemed to be very overworked. The checkin process was very slow. Once sat,I was called back the first time for 2 different tests in two different rooms. Then told to go back to the waiting area and would be called back. I was then called back again by a different assistant and taken into a room I was pretty sure was the exam room for more testing by yet another assistant. Nope. I was then moved to another room for 2 more tests and told to wait again in the waiting area. At this point my eyes were dilated so there wasn't much I could do (read or play on my phone) to pass the time and the time was excessive. I observed this to be the case for everyone, so are all of the tests necessary or just padding the bill? Roughly and hour and 45 min after I checked in, I was put in another room to wait for the doctor who was then so rushed and frantic that she barely spent 5 minutes with me, quickly signing off in my chart and clicking through the test results uploaded in the computer. She asked me no questions and didn't address any concerns I brought up with the assistant. Mind you the wait to get into this appointment was 4 months. She did the fastest exam with the the light in my eye and I was told another assistant would show me out. Wow. I think I'll be finding another provider despite the reputation these doctors have amongst the medical community. Some suggestions would be to LEAN out the office and make it a better flow for everyone; touch up some paint and clean the carpet and maybe do some general housekeeping (dust in the exam rooms was bad although the assistants did disinfect the equipment right before use in the immediate vicinity of the testing); be more professional and respectful of patients time; be cognizant of overbooking and staffing.
