Dr. Zaidi misdiagnosed my eye infection and caused me all sorts of misery. He told me that it was shingles, and the medication for that is some sort of anti-viral medication. Actually, it was a bacterial eye infection, which only proceeded to get worse and worse and worse in the days following, with my eye and face swelling up, because Dr. Zaidi did not recognize it. If it weren't for another doctor later making the correct diagnosis and prescribing two very strong antibiotics, God knows what would have happened.
I see from a lot of the reviews of Pacific Eye Associates that this seems to happen a lot.
Not only did Dr. Zaidi make the wrong diagnosis, which I suppose can happen, he seemed far more interested in trying to sell me glasses all during the appointment, and asked me to come back the next week to look at some. Completely ridiculous.
I would not recommend Dr. Zaidi for dealing with any sort of medical problem, though I suppose he might be OK if you need a pair of glasses.
Never again.

The doctors are excellent - I can't say enough about Dr. Karen Oxford or Dr. David Heiden. They are both 5 stars. The staff (especially Mary, in the insurance department) is inept and incredibly rude. The reception staff always makes me feel that I'm intruding on them. Really?! This is not one of those Chinese restaurants where rudeness is the norm! It's a bloody doctors' office! I once waited over an hour for the optometrist and when I asked the front staff what was going on, they couldn't explain to me. Turns out I wasn't even listed for an appointment although I was scheduled to see Dr. Oxford right after the optometrist (every year I have a same day duel appointment with an optometrist and then Dr. Oxford). The staff has always been bad since I've been coming here for the last 10 years-it feels worse now. And beware of the incompetence of the insurance dept. If you disagree with them and they find out you're right, no apologies and then the insult of being hung up on when you ask for an explanation. At least I have a year to find new ophthalmologists. Sigh...

My experience was really nice, they were busy but they had a nice young man with a tablet checking people in and I saw him checking in with patients and checking on how long the wait was. The two technicians I met with were friendly and professional . Dr So was wonderful .

I like Dr. So. He's terrific. The staff isn't very friendly and the wait times are ridiculous.
