I received good medical care from two doctors (including Dr. Zaidi), but not so much from a third, who did not dilate my eyes for a scan that she said could have had more accurate results if she had dilated them. It seemed like a waste. Her diagrams of the eyes were also missing labels, so it wasn't clear what the results were. The handwritten reports can also be hard to read. Pacific Eye Associates also does not let patients request corrections to their medical records, which is supposed to be a legal right protected by HIPAA. Instead, they try to persuade you to make a new appointment immediately with the previous doctor or another doctor, and if you don't, they say you can't return as a patient. It is also a violation of HIPAA to penalize a patient for trying to correct a medical record. Would suggest looking for care for your eyes elsewhere.

I came in with a painful cornea reinjury after calling the emergency line on a Sunday. The office called me first on Monday. One of the other doctors brought in Dr Oxford as the cornea specialist. She was compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable. Her experience was clear and she helped me while coaching the younger doctor, who was comfortable asking for advice and guidance, in such a respectful way. There was no ego and everyones priority seemed to be providing the best care. It reassuring to see the collaboration. When I had a tough first night, Dr Oxford fit me in the next day to make sure I was on track. Im so grateful she was brought in for a consult and admire both her commitment to her patients and the mentorship she provides those on her team. The nurses, receptionist staff, and everyone in the office seem to have the same attitude. Thrilled to have found this team!

I saw Dr So several times for glaucoma. When his treatment with drops was unsuccessful he became loud and menacing. My last visit was set for 3:30 pm. I waited until after 5 when the staff had left. At the 2 hour mark I left. Most importantly however was the yelling and threats.

Anyone else have a problem calling them? The number on their website and on Google is disconnected. Maybe you guys want to update your phone number to one that actually works???Well, I had them do a lens replacement for a cracked lens on a pair of Maui Jims and they left marks on the frame after I got it back. Should've known they weren't going to do a good job. Definitely won't be back.
