This place has a problem with overbooking. Both times I've been here I have waited over 2 hours for my appointment. When I booked my appointment the soonest available was over a month out. Great. Don't come here if you can help it until management learns that overbooking doesn't necessarily mean more money. Better service means more money. Also note, if you threaten to leave for being made wait so long you are threatened with a $50 cancellation fee.

NOT RECOMMENDED - UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORGANIZED, RUDE Pacific Eye Associates is a very disorganized and unprofessional medical practice. I had arrange to see an Opthalmologist at this practice three weeks in advance, sent them my medical insurance information, and asked them to check to see if it would be accepted by their practice. Their office assured me that every things was OK with my insurance, and scheduled me for an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist asked me to fill out the usual paper-work, and then informed me that their practice did not accept my insurance plan. I explained to the lady in their back office that they were supposed to have checked this weeks before, and if they had, they could have informed me of this earlier, and I would not have wasted hours of my time, or incurred the atrocious parking fees in the Fillmore area. The lady reluctantly apologized but was unwilling to compensate me for the charges I incurred, as a result of their incompetence. All in all a very bad experience and I will definitely not recommend this practice to any one.
