Dr. Charlson reconstructed my eyelid after having a growth removed. Her work is outstanding. I am only a week out of the surgery and the results are amazing. She has an eye for detail and explains what is happening every step of the way. The office is very professional and I am glad that I went there! Thank you Dr. Charlson!!

This bad experience made me have to spend precious time writing this review. Hope more people can know how chaotic, unprofessional and low-quality this clinics service is. My appointment was booked at 2:45pm on 09/02, and I arrived to check in at 2:30pm - 15 minutes earlier. The front desk told me to see Dr Inger for the annual inspection first, and then to Dr So. Then I was told to pay copay $80 and another $85 first, then fill out the form. After 20 minutes waiting, she told me that Dr Inger was very busy and had no time to see me. And she augmented that I was late and needed to make a new appointment. And by doing this, the $80 copay does not need to be refunded and can be used for the next appointment. Now I asked if I still need to see Dr So today? She said yes, let me continue to wait. After another 10 minutes, Dr Sos assistant called me into the room and asked me why I came for the check-up. I answered for the annual inspection. Then the assistant routinely asked some eye problems, such as eye pain, cataracts, glaucoma and other diseases. I answered I had no any those issues. She started to check my eyesight and intraocular pressure, and finally gave me eye drops that dilated my pupils and said that Dr So would call me. After waiting for a while, Dr So called me into the room and asked me again if I had eye pain, cataracts, glaucoma, etc. my answers were still no. He asked me why I came to the clinic today? I said to do an annual check-up, so he said that he would not do an annual check-up unless I had the above symptoms. I said that I did not have these symptoms, but the front desk said that you would see me and your assistant did some checks on me and gave my pupil dilation drops already. Now my vision is blurred, and I can't see clearly. He just left without any answer, calling another staff member to come in. The staff member asked me if I understood what Dr So said. I confirmed and repeated what just happened. The staff member left and told me to wait. About 10 minutes later, Dr So came in without saying anything to me, feeling very angry, and vigorously took away the medical records from the table. Then another 10 minutes waiting, the staff member came back and told me that Dr So is an expert and he does not do an annual inspection. No money will be charged today. You can go to the front desk to apply for a refund. At that point, I was very unpleasant. The front desk made a mistake and the assistant failed to stop it in time. Not only did I fail to do the annual inspection, but I also wasted a lot of time. The eye drops made my vision blurry and I couldnt drive yet. I must have an explanation. So I asked to talk to their manager. This managers name is Billy Kwong, a manager who worsen the conflict and has no professionalism at all. After I explained my experience to him, he blamed that all of those happened because I was late. I repeated again that it was not true. If this is your attitude in handling things, I think you are quite irresponsible, and I will write a review of your clinic I said. He turned angry and interrupted me rudely: "Dont yell at me, otherwise Ill call the security." "Go ahead" I said. Then he said that he would return the money to me and left. For a manager, he should be here to solve the problem. Not only did he understand objectively and fairly on the whole incident, but he also treated the patient with such a rude attitude, which made me quite speechless and full of indignation. When I left the clinic, it was already 4:30 in the afternoon. In those two hours I spent in the clinic, not only did they fail to check my eyes, but they also made me very frustrated. From the beginning to the end, they did not apologize for their mistakes and with bad attitudes. All I want is that they can admit that it was their mistake and say a word of sorry. But they don't have it at all! I cant drive because my vision is blurred, so I had to ask my husband to pick me up. Its a horrible experience! Because of this, my husband canceled the eye surgery scheduled for November with Dr Emily Charleston in the same clinic. I do not recommend my family and friends to visit this clinic at all. I also advise everyone who can see this review to carefully consider whether to choose this clinic. Be sure to check out other one-star reviews to see if other people had similar experience from this clinic - the service quality of this clinic from the front desk, assistants, doctors and managers to work is so annoying and unprofessional. There is a saying: "Attitude determines everything, details determine success or failure." In such a bad working environment, one can imagine that their professionalism and ethics will not be much better. If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. Stay away from this clinic!!!
