If 0 stars were an option, that is what Pacific Eye Associates and Dr. Danny Lin would receive.

I was referred to Dr. Lin for my chronic dry eyes. He suggested I have a procedure done called Punctal Plug Implants. After the consultation I assumed he was the best Dr. to go to since my beloved eye dr. (Dr. Vu at Hall and Szeto) referred me.

I came back a few weeks later once they were able to fit me into the schedule (Please note the long wait of at least 30 minutes at every appointment). I showed up for the procedure, he inserted the plugs, and then sent me on my way. He never gave me any precautions or anything... just said, "Okay, you're done, bye... see you in two weeks for a follow up."

Well before I even made it to the follow up one of the permanent plugs came out. The receptionist told me to come back the next day and they scheduled me with some random dr. who made me wait over an hour before he fixed my scratched and bruised eye. I told him I felt like the other PERMANENT plug was loose and he said it was fine. He too sent me on my way with nothing but a hefty bill.

Low and behold 2 weeks later BOTH plugs came out! So I now paid $600 (after insurance) for a permanent procedure that was not so permanent. I called at least 20 times to talk to someone in the office about my situation and not one person called me back.

So I scheduled a "follow up" with Dr. Lin to discuss the situation at hand. I waited an hour and 20 minutes before I was seen. Dr. Lin gave me 8 minutes of his time and not once did he look me in the eye. HOW RUDE! And he expects me to let him come near my eyes again? Absolutely not! I will never go back to that office!! If you expect someone to look you in the eyes when talking to you, don't go to dr. Lin.

Oh, and every time I am there I hear the assistants talking poorly about customers and how their feet hurt, etc. So unprofessional!

Extremely busy office with 14 eye docs. Dr. Lin was excellent and did a great job on my mother's cataract surgery.

Thanks Dr Thomas King for a great eye doctor experience. Though the practice seems to be very busy he answered all my questions patiently. After a thorough examination I walked out with my first contact lenses. I can highly recommend this place.

I went to Pacific Eye Associates on a recommendation and saw Dr. Seiff. He is great. Very cool and relaxed, but I never felt that he is taking any of my concerns lightly. He also performed surgery on my and I must say great job.

I'm amending the "one-star" review I posted April 11th because my eye doctor, Dr. Thomas King, read my review and resolved my duplicate billing issue!

This place totally screwed me over financially. First they tried to charge me for a missed appt that I never scheduled. . .then I get a bill in the mail for $115 for a 5-minute follow-up appt. To add insult to injury, they charged my credit card TWICE. . . so now I paid $230 for a 5-minute follow up appt and can't get the office manager to return my calls. If you have to get your eyes examined annually and feel like forking over major dough for it, then by all means check this place out. Otherwise, DO NOT GO HERE.
