Because of severe detached retinas, the damage to my eyesight was considerable and I'm legally blind. Pacific Eye Associates have been there for me during this catastrophe time. Since then, I've also developed multiple secondary problems like glaucoma and corneal disease. The office staff are always kind, professional, and effective. Dr. Reader, the Neuro-Opthamalogist is amazing! Not only was he effective in treating me medically, he stood by me when the insurance companies were trying to not pay for services. Although the situation is still difficult, I feel like my sight has been optimized and I'm getting back to living life fully again. Special credit also goes to Dr. Zaidi, Retinologist, Dr. Oxford, Corneal Specialist, Laura Inger, Comprehensive Ophthalmology who made a terrific continuum of care. Office staff worked hard to solve problems and connect you with the doctor in emergencies. When buying glasses, I needed four pairs that do different things in order for me to function. Lisa in eyewear gave me excellent choices at incredibly affordable prices. I'm not sure they could be matched anywhere in the city. Lisa has great taste too. I highly recommend this office!
