Had a fantastic experience! I was skeptical being a tourist I was worried my experience would end up feeling like I overpaid for poor quality tasting food. But that was definitely not the case at DiMillo's. There was plenty of parking but you have to remember to get your parking sticker validated. We didn't have reservations but was able to get a table for 2 on Thursday 7pm for indoor dining. There weren't very many tables inside but plenty of tables in the covered outdoor area. In the summer, I'm sure it's so the coveted spot to dine to see the views of the water. But being late October, we felt lucky to score a table inside. I ordered the twin lobster. I chose the stuffed and steamed. They were both so good. The lobster was sweet and fresh. The best Maine lobsters!!! They get a delivery 2xs a day which is why they serve really fresh lobster. Don't miss ordering their clam chowder. So so good. My husband ordered the lobster Mac n Cheese and he really enjoyed it.The service tonight was also excellent. Our server Kelsey was so attentive and so so friendly. She made sure to always check up on us to make sure we were happy. At the end she even gave me a hot towel w lemons to wipes my hands. Nice touch!

The location was perfect. Right on the water. We had made a reservation so our wait time was next to nothing. I knew I wanted lobster since I was in Maine so I decided on the steamed. I'm normally a crab person so I wasn't sure how to eat it as it came out whole. The server gave me some tips and I attacked the tail first which was the best part... sweet and juicy and very easy to get to. The rest of the lobster wasn't as easy. And I wasn't sure what exactly I could and couldn't eat. The price was very reasonable so I was still very pleased. My older daughter got the fish and chips and was pleased. The fish was flaky and very tasty. Younger daughter got the clams pasta and was also very pleased. The sauce was creamy and there was a lot of clams. Overall great value for your money! You won't be disappointed.

This is where u go for the best lobster experience. Yes, it is expensive but you get your money's worth. I ordered a 'lazy lobster' and it was fresh/juicy and buttery, just how I like it. Desert was good too. Worth the 50 bucks. The manager came out to check on us and was very welcoming.

First of all, if you are planning on going to DiMillo's, there is a huge parking lot with ticketed entry in front of the restaurant. Look for their sign and the blue roof. You cannot see the restaurant from the street unless you know what to look for. They will validate your ticket for the time you are in the restaurant (only)Once you walk to the very back of the parking lot down to the water, you will see the restaurant. At the top of the ramp to the restaurant, there was a gal (gatekeeper) who takes names, party sizes & collects phone numbers to notify people when their table is ready. I was there yesterday- mid afternoon on a weekday, by myself. The gate keeper really pushed for me to sit at the bar and said it would be a 30 minute wait otherwise. I politely told her I preferred to wait for a table, thank you. Then she immediately said it would probably be a 45 minute wait... I told her I still preferred to wait for a table. I thought about leaving as I didn't appreciate her pushiness. I'm glad I did not. Four minutes later, I was paged from inside the restaurant - my table was ready. I was seated in the closed in area out on the deck. The restaurant was not full. Beautiful view. I opted for the scallops platter. I got half broiled and half fried with coleslaw. They were just delicious. Very sweet and tender. Formally I would have cringed at the thought of having such a delicate piece of seafood fried as I was afraid it would ruin the texture or overpower the flavor. It did not. The coleslaw lacked flavor, but it was OK. For dessert I ordered their Blueberry cobbler ala mode. It was very good too. Normally this would've been too much food, but it was my one meal for the day and it was perfect. My server (Adam?) did a great job. It's not a cheap place to eat, but if you have limited time and want to be assured of a good meal, I feel confident in recommending this place. I will add that others around me I had lobster and seemed to be quite pleased as well.It would be a five star review if not for the gatekeeper really trying to push me to the bar. If she did that on her own, a little training might be helpful. If she is instructed to shove single travelers to the bar, I hope the management team realizes it gets old and sometimes a real table is appreciated - especially when dropping $60.00 for lunch. Generally speaking, most single travelers who get good service are quite appreciative and that appreciation is reflected in the tip.

Such a cute restaurant! I really loved how it was on a boat it felt really nice how they spaced everyone out inside. We had to wait in our car about an hour since we didn't have a reservation. However once we got inside the service was really quick and our waitress was nice. My husband and I both got the lazy lobster (although he got the admirals portion). For sides we chose green beans sauted in bacon and cheese polenta. The lobster in the sauce was great. Super buttery and fresh tasting. The green beans weren't overly cooked and they were good in the bacon fat. I would've gotten desert but I was already too full.
