One star for service, and one star for location. As soon as we walked into the parking lot we thought that the place was gymycky, we knew we should have turned around and go somewhere else. But the reviews were ere good and it was recommended, so we went in. We sat in the dinning room and the service was fine, but the food was just awful. All seafood tasted like it was frozen, all vegetables tasted like they had been cooked for days, pasta was overcooked. Tourist trap through and through. We were so mad even while eating our dinner that we could not enjoy the view.

I went to Dimillo's yesterday at 1 o'clock for lunch with family. I ordered the lobster and mac'n cheese I was met with a dry lightly cheesed small portion of pasta (about 20 cents worth) paired with 4 small bites of lobster and a half crouton hard piece of garlic bread. This is an acceptable amount if it tasted good which it didnt it was rubbery lobster and the mascarpone cheese was the highlight. The real problem with the dish was the price 22 dollars , 22 dollars I'm wondering what people are paying for the atmosphere? It couldnt be that because there was a strong yeast smell throughout the restaurant. The service was very good and I'm not the type of person to not pay for my food so I didnt complain. Its just sad that so many people for out of maine think this place is great but its over priced and didnt taste good. No one at the table of 7 finished there small plate . In my opinion this place is a absolute tourist trap! If younger people dont go there it wont hurt them most everyone there was 60 an up very disappointing if your thinking of visiting from out of state go to the Clam bake for half the price for authentic seafood.
