    Perfect place for having happy hour drinks and food on a huge boat which is attached to the dock. The lounge has very comfy chairs at the tables as well as a huge bar . Loads of windows so you can see the harbor. My Bloody Mary was okay and had a hint of a cocktail sauce taste. My haddock soup was yummy and steamy hot with loads of haddock and potatoes! The buffalo shrimp was a bit hot but the shrimps were huge! The meatball was size of a baseball with risotto on top and swimming in a marinara sauce. Our other meatball was wrapped in risotto with risotto in the middle and sitting on top of delicious marinara sauce. This is definitely worth a meal to enjoy in Portland!

    Best lobster stew I've ever had!This floating restaurant is on a repurposed ferry docked off Commercial Street in Portland.I arrived after a sunset sail on a Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. The hostess said it would be about 45 minutes for a table or I could try a seat at the bar with the full menu available. I snagged the last seat at a very long double sided bar and within seconds was greeted and had a drink order and menuI had the lobster stew and a broiled platter of shrimp, scallops and haddock.The stew was loaded with large chunks of delicious lobster and was seasoned perfectly. The generous serving on the platter were obviously very fresh and broiled perfectly. In just a blink of an eye a broiler can overcook seafood and dry it out but not at DiMilo's.Very friendly wait staff and patrons. On one side I had a Con Ed project manager working on taking a university off the grid and the other a couple who've lived on a boat for 5 years.This massive multilevel restaurant is beautifully designed, offers free parking and an abundance of fresh seafood reasonably priced especially for a floating restaurant in a tourist area.

    We came to Portland for the weekend with my elderly in laws. This was the perfect lunch spot! Plenty of parking, we were seated right away, it was clean, pleasant and a view of the ocean anywhere you sit! The front desk staff were friendly and our waiter Ari was very professional and efficient, we never felt rushed.All of our meals were delish - the boys had the lunch portion fried clam plate, she had broiled haddock and I had the fried North Atlantic shrimp. Everything was light, crispy and served nice and hot!I don't think the pricing for this waterfront restaurant is unreasonable. It's perfect for couples, friends or family any time of the year.
