    The Quick: The view and location are great. You are on a fancy boat docked on the water with elegant decor. <br><br>The Details: The dress code is casual as most tourists stop by after exploring the town. The food is... Good. Not amazing nor terrible, very average and a bit pricey. Almost everyone liked their meals but there are much better options Portland. The pasta with salmon featured salmon from a can so I would not recommend that. However the lazy lobster was delicious (lobster in butter... What's not to like?) <br><br>I would recommend going for a drink and appetizers to enjoy the ambience and view, and walk a little way off of Main Street for dinner.

    The dead of winter is here with piles of snow 8' high and the sign says "welcome to locals season". The bartenders are friendly and making this New Yorker feel like a local. The New England clam chowder was amazing - I probably would have had a bowl if the calorie count wasn't listed so I settled for an amazing cup filled with creamy clam goodness! I move on to the new 2 steamed lobster special for $29.00 - amazing! You need to fit this into your schedule, the atmosphere is great as well - the restaurant is actually and old boat with a lot of hand carved details right in the harbor!<br><br>Enjoy!

    Delicious entrees, dinner served all day, on a multi deck floating restaurant in Portland Maine's quaint Old Port. DiMillo's is a wonderful place to visit and eat a delicious meal, luscious "adult beverages", with plenty of windows to view the Portland harbor in Casco Bay. A fun family restaurant with plenty of parking validated for customers in the spacious area available. DiMillo's is a destination restaurant and the menu is worth the repeat visits, especially wonderful for special occasions.

    I'VE LIVED IN MAINE MOST OF MY LIFE, & PROUD TO BE THE DAUGHTER OF A HARD WORKING' LOBSTA'MAN.I CAN APPRECIATE GREAT SEAFOOD,I CAN APPRECIATE A DRESS CODE, IT IS NO SECRET DIMILLOS HAS CERTAIN STANDARDS,THAT SAID, JUST BECAUSE WE DIDN'T ARRIVE IN MINK COATS & TUX'S I FEEL ITS DISCRIMINATING TO BE LOOKED OVER LIKE A BRUISED APPLE AT THE GROCERYSTORE, CAST ASIDE & TOLD THE WAIT IS AN HOUR & A HALF TO 2 HOURS,,,JUST TO BE CLEAR WE HAD ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE, LONG SLEEVED BUTTON DOWN DRESS SHIRT YES,,,WITH A COLLAR & YES BUTTONED UP ALL BUT TOP BUTTON A GUYS GOTTA BREATHE,,,,& DARK DENIM JEANS & YES THEY WERE CLEAN,,, UNSCUFFED DRESS BOOTS FOR WEDDINGS, FUNERALS & DINNER AT DIMILLOS...I WAS WEARING 'JACKIE O' STYLE JACKET WITH LONG BLACK LONDON FOG COAT OVER IT, BLACK SKINNY JEANS,& KNEE HIGH BOOTS, & YES,, I LEFT THIGH HIGH BIKER BOOTS AT HOME,,, SO NOW THAT I'VE PUT YA IN THEATER SEATS YA GET A BETTER PICTURE' BEING & FEELING SO OBVIOUSLY DISSED WHEN WE WALKED BACK TO TRUCK WE DECIDED TO MAKE THE CALL TO FRONT DESK, WHEN WE ASKED BY PHONE HOW LONG WAIT IS WE WERE KINDLY TOLD 'ABOUT A HALF HOUR'SO SIGHT UNSEEN, ITS HALF HOUR, STANDING IN LOBBY ABOUT 3 MINUTES EARLIER IT WAS AN HOUR & A HALF TO 2 HOURS,,,,,SO I SUGGEST YA CALL AHEAD MAKE RESERVATION THEN SHOW UP IN YOUR BEST HOLEY JEANS, YOUR BUTTERY YELLOW PIT STAINED WIFE BEATER T SHIRT & TELL 'EM AMY SENT YA!!!

    I can only give them 5 stars ...unfortunately...If I could I would give them 10. The place looks great (we were seated at the lounge) and it's different than any other seafood restaurant that I've been to....and the food was AMAZING! I had to try their steamed lobster. Great choice and not only that but everything we've tried like the roasted veggie platter was good too. Our waitress was very nice and the service was great. We'll be back in the summer when not only the food but the seaport views will be amazing!
