LOBSTER LOBSTER LOBSTER! Hands down my favorite lobster stew. Creamy, sherry flooded and filled with claw and knuckle meat. Yum A dum dum!
The steamers were fresh with delicious drawn butter.
They also serve a 16 year Lagavulin which, if you like scotch and have not tried, stop what you are doing right now and go try some.
The restaurant is a boat and is quite beautiful with great harbor views all around.

Great for out of town visitors! The lobster is served up delicious, reasonably priced, and the fact that the restaurant is an anchored ship in the bay is fun! As a bonus, this is one of only a FEW waterfront restaurants which remains open in the off season, a bonus if you happen to visit in the winter months.

Cocktails were pretty standard, nothing surprising, and they had a decent selection of local New England beers.

The views are pretty at sunset if you get a table next to a window with the overall atmosphere an easy but smart casual.

My boyfriend and I came here in the summer and we had such a terrible experience that I am so embarrassed. I was very excited to go because it is such an elegant floating restaurant with beautiful views. We arrived and we were seated very shortly. We were sitting on the third floor, and it was very quiet. Only a few couples dining.

We got our table and the hostess said our waiter would be right over. We waited. And waited. All while other patrons were being seated and ordering. After a long while, someone else came over and gave us water and said our waiter would be coming. We continued to wait. Finally we couldn't take it anymore so we left. As we were leaving we overheard our waiter give attitude to the host about how she was supposed to let him know, and he has a lot of tables to serve, etc. He seemed rude so I'm happy we left.

We were disappointed, and it was embarrassing. I will NEVER go back to this place, there are much better places (at least service wise) in Portland.

Great food. A little pricey, but the atmosphere is a huge part of the value.
