    We were really looking forward to a great seafood dinner here, but were pretty disappointed. The clam chowder and the whole lobster were pretty tasty, but everything else was either so-so or outright horrible. Our waiter clearly thought he was going to get better tips from the customers on the "VIP top deck", because he was rarely at our table. When I showed him how sandy and gritty my steamers were, he said, "Yuk, I have never liked those!" - I'm not kidding, those were his exact words. No offer to exchange them for something else or a partial refund on my $40 meal. My advice is to steer clear of this restaurant unless all you want is clam chowder and a whole lobster (and bad service).

    Another local fare that our group visited while in Portland. I can't understand why it rated so low. They had great food and service. I had a fried seafood platter and maybe it was because I was dead tired, but I wasn't hungry and didn't finish it. I did have the clam chowder that was excellent. <br><br>Everyone in my party loved the place. They almost suffered lobster intoxication for so much lobster. It wasn't cheap, but it was not outrageous. <br><br>I would go back there in a second.

    The food was excellent. I loved my lobster meal. It was perfect! I asked our wonderful server Annie if the mashed potatoes was made with "real" potatoes and she said yes. I loved them especially with the tasty gravy. Annie was a fantastic server. She was so friendly and told us about the history of the unique restaurant on a boat! I highly recommend Dimillo's On the Water.

    This is a pretty cool place to eat if your visiting Maine. You eat dinner on a ship looking out to the water. The salmon was really good. I never had honey mustard on my salmon before and it tasted great. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese lobster was alright. I was a little disappointed by it. It was a Bowtie pasta with a cream sauce. The lobster was really good though.

    Is a really nice atmosphere and fun place to eat. I little pricey though. Lobster was fair. Desert was okay.
