Went here yesterday with my husband & daughter. Now, I am not a seafood person, but thought if I was ever going to try it, this would probably be the best place to do so. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! The 1st thing I tried was the Clam Chowder. Oh my! That was out of this world! My husband kept laughing at me going on & on about how good it was & saying that he never thought he'd see the day where I'd eat New England Clam Chowder! Then, we got the crab cakes! Those were so good too! Loved them! My husband got the twin lobsters (2, 1 1/8lb lobsters). He got one baked and the other steamed. Loved them both & yes, I even tried it! Very good, very tender! My daughter got the lobster, shrimp & scallop fettuccine! That was delicious too (I tried hers also). I ordered the filet mignon (this was before I tried any seafood & was not brave enough at the time to risk my entree being seafood). The filet was cooked to perfection & very tender! It had a Demi glaze on it that gave it a smoky, BBQ flavor. I did not care for that particular flavor on a filet. I felt that it distracted from the filet's natural flavor, but it was still good. For dessert, we got the bread pudding & key lime pie! Both were awesome & a great end to a fantastic meal! Will definitely go there again if we ever get back to Portland!
