    We are visiting from Jersey, and were blown away by the experience!! We had no idea the restaurant was on a boat which is amazing & lots of fun. The drinks were delicious & strong, and the food was amazing. The crab cakes were so flavorful. We both got the lazy lobster. Make sure you ask for the butter sauce on the side, otherwise it is sitting in it. The polenta was amazing, but very filling. If you're looking for a different experience, I highly recommend!

    Oh my !! Where to being!! The food was AMAZING!!! We ordered calamari, clam chowder, drinks, the twin lobster and fried lobster!! All of it was amazing!! It was probably the clam chowder I have EVER had!! The staff were so kind. The hostess said it would be an hour wait, to be expected being that it's a Saturday in August, reality the wait was maybe 30 minutes. Once seated Brandon was our waiter. He was so on point. Checked In but not annoying with it, has great recommendations, and prompt with everything. I have read that the place is "dated" it definitely not a super new place but it has charm, is clean, and leaves great room for conversation. I HIGHLY recommend you try it if you're looking for a nice date night.

    Coming to Portland, I almost felt like I was back home in San Fran, until I sat down for lunch on this old, outdated "floating" ship-restaurant, which was recommended for my summer trip to New England. Fish smells are decades old embedded in the furniture and carpet, so unless you really like the smell of old, wet fish, I suggest you go somewhere else. My server was rude, slow and definitely did not like her job, complaining in the corner with co-workers about how bad dealing with us "losers" were for her. I didn't get beyond the expensive and weak chowder (with no clams in it), and left my customary cash payment on the table without one word from my server, as I walked out without a backward glance. Truly forgettable, except for the awful smell!

    Excellent food, friendly service.Appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops in maple glaze. Had lobster twin dinner $25 served with polenta, steaming hot and fantastic. Was seated in bar area, which was inside with great views of harbor. Definite must when in Portland, 10/10 recommend!
