    Pretty cool floating restaurant on Portland's Marina. I must preface by saying there are lots of restaurants to pick from but we decided to eat in one that was formerly a ferry.The place was pretty busy and this could be because we came the day before Mother's Day. Service was slow but our waitress was very friendly. We decided on the following:*Fried calamari- not crispy at all*Wedge Salad- generous portions of bacon and blue cheese dressing*Sauted Mussels- quite good but could have been served warmer*Lobster roll- it was good but not one I would order again. It was served with polenta cheese that I enjoyed.Portions were generous but I must say that we polished our lunch because we were ridiculously hungry. While the location was perfect, I'd say that the food was mediocre to good at best.

    We were on our way out of Maine, ending a vacation/visiting trip and my wife wanted some lobster. Go figure, right? Maine, lobster... Anyhow, we had some time before our flight so we decided to give Dimillo's a try.First off, we were seated promptly. Nice start. Our server was there quickly and also was informative about the menu. He also took a cue from my wife and kept us moving (flight to catch!) without rushing us.I wasn't terribly hungry at lunchtime and ordered the Haddock Stew and a starter of Bacon Wrapped Scallops. My wife ordered Fried Lobster tails which came with mashed potatoes.The Haddock stew was really good, pieces of potato, onion and of course flakes of haddock, highly recommended! The scallops were also very well prepared. They were just "done" which can be easy to overcook.My wife thoroughly enjoyed the fried lobster tails and commented positively on the mashed potatoes consistency and taste. Very enjoyable for a quick stop where I didn't have the highest expectations. Definitely a place we'll return to on our next trip.

    We dined outside under cover on the boat Tuesday. It was raining but we were very comfortable with the outdoor overhead heaters. Our waiter, James, was great! He was very attentive and cordial. View was awesome & we went for the broiled seafood dinner and it was delicious! Next time we're in Portland we definitely want to return here!

    Lovely boat and pleasant staff. Had bacon-wrapped scallops then I had lazy lobster and coleslaw, and hubby had lobster mac & cheese with garlic bread. It all tasted delicious! My lobster was a bit overcooked, but everything else was great. Make a reservation, or go early or late, or you might not get a seat! If we could go tomorrow, I'd go again.
