My friends and I visited DiMillo's On the Water on 7/4/19 for dinner and we were not impressed with the service there-particularly the hostesses. They appeared very aloof and were quite rude. Additionally, they did very little to try and accomodate our party. We were originally told that there would be a 20 minute wait for a table. We sat at the bar for drinks, nearly an hour goes by and I come back to inquire about the time/when we may expect to be seated. The hostess then informed us that the kitchen would be closing and they would be unable to serve us at a table (i.e. we would have to eat at the bar). There were clearly many tables available. Not once did the hostess make an attempt to speak with a superior to accomodate us. The situation was figured out after we sought out the manager through the bartender but the overall situation was very unpleasant and left a bad taste in our mouth.I understand the hostesses are young women and probably do not have a lot of work experience but they definitely need a refresher on customer service and professionalism. Other than that, our waitress and bartender were nice and we enjoyed our food.-Evan

Admiral's portion Romantic atmosphere and the price reflects the quality. Loved the lobster. This place was worth every penny!

We had a really nice time. The server was very nice and personable. We waited about 45min for a table outside - arriving at 7pm on a Sunday night. The wait for food was about an hour, which was slower than we were expecting. I was also disappointed with the Pescatore special, the lobster was amazing but the pasta was extremely mushy, almost like chewing on raw bread dough.
