We had been on a cruise around the bay area, and our tour guide gave us some history on Dimillio's. I had seen it while we were visiting the area as well..so decided to eat there. We were seated very quickly, and basically were told to sit wherever we wanted. We were greeted quickly by our waitress, ordered some drinks..ordered our food..it was a pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing experience..Food was very good as well! Hard to duplicate your Mom's meatball (being Italian that is), but I was pleasantly surprised...their Sicilian meatball appetizer was real good..and the dolup of ricotta on top added a nice touch..so I say visit Dimillio's..you won't be disappointed!.

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner and it was very busy, we had a party of 5 and had tried to make reservations, but at the point I called they had stopped taking anymore. We decided to go anyway and were told it would be a 90 min wait, which we accepted...we ended up waiting 45 min instead which was good. <br> Our food was great and the only reason I give this 4 stars is the service. We were seated at about 7:30 and within 15 min had appetizers delivered...the problem we had was our meals weren't delivered until almost 9:30....and we had no communication from our server that there was a delay and most other patrons near us had already left . I had to get up and ask for someone to check on our food. <br> We were dining with our 7 year old granddaughter and she barely ate anything by the time we got it. <br> We would return, but didn't think that this was a good experience overall.

Really cool place. It's actually a docked boat. Food was good. It was my wife's first time getting the full lobster where she had to rip into it. Boy was it gross but she really enjoyed it.
