    DiMillo's is synonymous with Portland Maine. This establishment has been family owned and operated since opening in 1954. The family still can be seen walking the floor checking on customer satisfaction first hand. <br>Our son got his first job this summer and he wanted to thank us for driving him to and from his job and took us here for dinner. We did not have a reservation and were told we would have to wait an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. We decided we would wait and after I gave our name my husband found an open table in lounge area. We were able to take that table since it wasn't in the actual dinning room. We sat down at the table and the waiter clear away the last occupants glasses and wiped it down before handing us menus. <br>The waiter returned and gave us the specials and took our drink order. Our sons ginger ale came with the water and bread service. Some how our drink order had been lost, "fell through the cracks". When our appetizer came out we still did not have our drinks and no plates or silver ware to eat with. Finally our drinks came, "printer ran out of paper". <br>Our entree's were wonderful and flavorful. Seafood alfredo was amazing as was the lobster and steamers! Husband loved his fisherman's platter.<br>We had an issue with our waiter and reported to management who were very apologetic and followed up with a lovely letter. Will not let this deter us from visiting again. Recommend to anyone since we have been coming here for over 15 years.

    First time visiting and was told to go there for excellent seafood (but expect high prices). They were right! The food was DELICIOUS - spicy calamari, clam chowder, steamers, jumbo shrimp, and a bottle of champagne. Delicious! Our service was a tad slow but we were sitting in the lounge (self seating) and it didn't kill our mood. Yum!!!!

    Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely delicious!! From the white wine to their lobster, so good! Can't wait to go back!! The atmosphere is gorgeous too.
