This place is so cheeseball but that is overall totally ok because I like Portland! The food is solid, the service was solid, no penalty for the server's regrettable facial hair. Everything felt a little tilty since we were on a boat but no shaking or rocking. Anyway, still it's a fun place to eat and probably on warmer days sitting outside is probably nice.

Bring your grandmother here. She'll fit right in.

Don't forget the bib, and ask the server why the stuffed lobsters are stuffed with TURKEY stuffing before ordering the Twins.

Then think twice before dining at a place where the napkins and silverware come neatly stuffed into your water glass, and the server quotes you the prices of the specials which she reads straight off her Little Black Book.

This place has a lot of character. Its an old boat that they turned into a restaurant. Its a great place for lobster, but I love the haddock chowder! The chowder is a yellow/orange color and I could have eaten the whole pot! They have a large parking lot and will validate your parking ticket when you leave. ( I think two hour max) The best place to sit is the outside deck facing the harbor, its almost magical to see the boats float by while you eat.

It is touristy, but it's also pretty good. The place looks like the food should be better, but it's not bad. The seafood stew was good and we were all satisfied, but I'd probably find another place next time. It is a little touristy, and so a little pricey.

We arrived at Dimillo's on a cold Friday night during a torrential downpour, and received a very warm greeting from the hostesses. We wanted to have typical Maine lobster, but didn't want a lobster shack experience, and this ended up being the perfect place. The lobster stew was delicious, and as someone else has commented, had generous portions of lobster meat. We then moved on to steamed lobster, which tasted fresh and delicious. Capped off the evening with Maine blueberry pie a la mode - yummy! Add to that good service and free parking, and you've got a winner!
