    We'd heard about this restaurant from a TV review and then read some of the reviews. 90% were great, others complained about wait time or that they were an overrated seafood place. Let me tell you, they're not. We called to make a reservation and were told they weren't taking any more reservations. Ok, that's fine, we weren't in a rush. When we put our name in and we were told our wait time was 30-40 mins, we were seated in 20 mins side note, we also got there before 6pm. <br>Our table was along the windows which was great but I really don't think you can have a bad table view even in the center. Our waitress was attentive and came by several times to see how we were doing. <br>Now, if you're a person who likes seafood and are lucky enough to have great seafood restaurants around you and have frequented them, as we have you know when seafood is good. My husband had their seafood platter, which is huge, and it was very good. The breading is lite and not heavy at all, and it's very tasty. The clam chowder is the best I've had in the New England states! Their scallops wrapped in bacon come in a basket and were simply delicious. I had salmon and the veggie of the day, equally as delicious and cooked to perfection. <br>Last, the Bloody Mary is beyond worth it and the cafe fig drink is small but mighty. <br>If I were to have one con, it's their presentation. My salmon was just on a small plate with the veggie spooned to the side of it. Put the veggie in a side dish on the plate and dress the plate with some garnish. I chose not to have the starch offered with the dish, they should have offered an alternative even if it was a side salad. With that being said, it's not a deal breaker as we will be back. <br>It's worth it.

    We were a party of 6 and feel we represent a wide variety of appetites and foodie sophistication. We were all very happily surprised and feel this restaurant deserves a strong review. The server was a long time employee ( speaks volumes), made suggestions when we asked, and was excellent. The food was excellent and came out very quickly for a busy Friday night. I enjoyed the mussels appetizer ( my entree)- fabulous flavor. Server volunteered more bread for soaking up the broth-wow. She made our dinner special. Caesar salad good and the chowder was by consensus another big wow. Other entrees equally enjoyed at the table. To top it off, I couldn't find my cell phone and I dropped the small bag it was in at parking lot and valet attendants found it. They tried hunting it down- calling my hotel to alert them and charging it up as it was almost 'dead. A friend called my phone and I found out where it was. I feel this whole stuff is committed to a posited experience of food, service, and genuine interest in the diner and I happily give it five stars for a wonderful evening !
