After my 8yr old son failed his school eye exam I made him an appointment with Dr Guy Beavers at Mann Eye North Austin. My son has autism and eye exams have previously been impossible. I was nervous he would not cooperate or get upset. I told the front desk of my concerns but they were already prepared. Vanessa did his exam and work up and let me tell you she is THE MOST AMAZING HUMAN. She was so incredibly patient, met him where he was at and for the first time ever we got an accurate exam. She even managed to put in dilating drops. She made everything so much calmer which lead to a very successful exam with Dr. Beavers.
